Connection Problems...
...Deja Vu from the GTA IV connection 'payne'.
On another note: I have to admit, playing with a controller is less accurate but better if you can't remember key mappings very well.
How are the loading times during the cutscenes on PC? Better or worse than console?
How are the loading times during the cutscenes on PC? Better or worse than console?
I never had any times where the cutscene ended and it was still loading if that's what you're asking.
Guys how do I unlock my steam preorder DLC?
Guys how do I get Max Payne 3 to start up on steam? (Sarcastic response)
Guys how do I get Max Payne 3 to start up on steam?
Link the launcher to Steam.
It won't start for some people like me. We'll just have to wait for a fix.
Link the launcher to Steam.
Oh, I guess my sarcasm wasn't present enough in my post... the game doesn't start...
Be well aware, if you buy a russian CD key or anything similar off g2play or KeysOutlet its a retail version and is not steam. You will have to get the 4 retail discs somehow to install it.
Also if you two are buying it KeysOutlet offers discounts on double purchases.

Have you tried one of the following:
-Downloading the newest Nvidia/ATI drivers
-Deleting ClientRegistry.blob
-Both?

I trust this site 100%. I bought Witcher 2 and Dragon age 2 from them over a year ago with no issues and they both registered on Steam fine.
HANG ON no one buy this. I need to double check this might just be a CD key and not the full game.
Would like to join the Facepunch Crew.

Yea, I updated them and did all the stuff it said on this site http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/21516788-net-c-directx-nothing-happening-after-pressing-launch-in-max-payne-3-for-pc. Already sent them a support ticket.

Yeah DON'T buy this Y'all. this would only be useful if you have a retail copy and your CD Key is lost/ Banned. I guess if you pirated it and wanted multi-player that would work too, but this is NOT a Downloadable game just a key!
Sorry, should have known it was too good to be true.
Guys how do I unlock my steam preorder DLC?
You need to enter the code in the marketplace, You can find the code in the steam overlay.

So? I just bought a CD key, and I'm one of the few who's able to play the game (nearly beat it too)

Well, it says they dont provide game...just get it off corsair bay, it's the same as if you had retail copy...
But if you live in america, thats different thing, they probably monitor downloads and later sends postcard gifts

I love doing this. So satisfying since it lets you pull the trigger.

I prefer diving off a ledge only to slam into the edge and fall to my death.
Max Payne 3 = Good purchase. Will probably still be playing after 5 years. :downs:
The story is great, except for the parts where Max acts like a fucking retard.
You all know the parts.

He seemed fine to me.
I haven't read anything in here for fear of spoilers I just have to ask, is anyone else getting a John Mcclane vibe from Max? It feels like Die hard - the game.
He seemed fine to me.
[sp]He gets disarmed at least four or five times, his recklessness in running into situations gets Fabiana killed[/sp] and, repeatedly near the end, he drops his larger weapon and spontaneously loses his other guns aside from his sole pistol (or he otherwise just switches to the damn pistol).
Story-wise, i'm not sure what to think. It's good writing, the cutscenes are typically high quality - but at the same time the pacing, the length, and otherwise make it feel like an extended movie. This is one of those few cases where a campaign considered a little on the 'short' side actually feels right to me, because it doesn't overstay its welcome or draw things out horribly. Combine this with the findable Clues and Golden Gun pieces, and it adds replayability to an otherwise linear, movie-like game. Something Call of Duty hasn't done since the first Modern Warfare.
