Max Payne Series - Megathread - Games

Man, I dunno about multiplayer. Half the time I can't connect to a match or get stuck loading forever. The other half of the time actually playing is split between doing moderately well enough to play with deaths, or getting my ass absolutely handed to me. The single-player was great, albeit with some wig-outs and odd spikes in difficulty, but i'm not [i]sure[/i] what to think on the multiplayer since it's hard to experience it.

You can experience the multiplayer... with a Mini-30.

The second one is even more similar mechanically so a touch up would be amazing.

Just completed the game. It was nice. I'm not disappointed. Multiplayer was fun too, until I got killed

I hate the way they phrased the 'are you sure you wan to quit?' options. So depressing. I mean wouldn't it be nice if after you beat the game, the options were a little more upbeat?

I can't imagine I'd play multiplayer a lot on the PC version just because of all the unsupervised kiddies that would have a field day cheating in it... And I'd really hate to play it on console because of the controller, but that would be my reasoning for opting to getting the console version

I once got some guy so mad at me for killing him once that he started insulting me and immediately quit. It was pretty funny. I also regularly hear people accusing one another of cheating.

I just hate people who will load up a program they downloaded somewhere, give themselves aimbot, lightspeed movement, unlimited ammo with ridiculous fire rates and play the game like that, all day. They think it's fun, but the rest of us in the game don't. I'd just prefer to play the game when I load it up, not play find a server to play in

What the absolute fuck, ok I'm in multiplayer and this guy gets stuck between me and other guys, needless to say we load a fucking bunch of bullets into him and he takes NO DAMAGE what so ever, he ended the game 41 - 0, so looks like there's already hacks or an invisibility exploit
