Arrrrgh. Managed to finally get a Deathmatch round on the event playlist, it had a player named Solomon_Kane who was invulnerable and had an infinite ammo grenade launcher. Did terribly that match, kept spawning into areas people with rifles happened to be looking over. Next match, I get timed out again, the whole menu stays black, and i'm forced to Task Manager the game.
Goddamn you multiplayer.
My typical experience in MP seems to be getting killed by lagging, teleporting Russians before I can even see them/shoot at them.

I'm going to hop on some multiplayer now. I'm "milkandcooki" on the Social Club.
I enjoyed this game. It was pretty good, on its own that is.
As a Max Payne-game though, I didn't enjoy it too much. The pace is too frantic, the new narrative doesn't come close to holding up to the graphic novel narrative, and it barely sports any of the wit or charm 1 and 2 had.
But ye, a good game nonetheless. The gunplay is incredible (maybe the best I've ever seen), and the visuals are swell.
My favorite moment was [sp] shootdodging onto one of the aiport's moving walkways, and then just laying there, shooting baddies with a Glock in each hand, while this played[/sp]

Apart from the graphic novel narrative, the element I missed the most, was the nightmare sequences. They were really cool in 1 and 2, and I can imagine R* being able to pull off some really crazy stuff with today's tech. They would also help break up the pace- making it more like the previous installments.
For some reason I'm not in the crew anymore, threw a new request.
Does anyone have any clue why my Marketplace, Playlists, and private match are all greyed out?
Also, is the Soundtrack available from anywhere else than iTunes?

Ha! I Did the same thing.[sp]I Saw the walkway and I Went all "Fuck yeah let's do this!" jumped onto it but the minute i landed onto it I got instant killed by a baddie who was standing on the walkway above[/sp]:v:
Is it just me, or is that automatic shotgun in MP (the one unlocked from the start), completely fucking [B]useless[/B]? From 5 metres (maybe even less), it straight up loses against pistols, even though I had a bullet vest (light, but still) and the other guy did not (both aimed for the chest, it wasn't a headshot).

Pistols in general seem really powerful. I've been counter sniped by people dual wielding before.

Bit of a weird issue here. I've beaten the first section in Jersey and I'm currently in [sp]The Shipping Yard[/sp]
Yet my continue is the Stadium, and I can't load the Jersey Section from Chapter Select, nor the [sp]Shipping Yard[/sp].
I really miss the sharper writing in the previous games. Max repeats himself quite a lot.

"God damn it", quite a lot throughout the game. And most of the time "god *long pause* dammit" kind of way.
Man the preorder grenade launcher sucks so much. Completely unreliable in any situation, impossible to tell the arc and the distance it will go, and the slightest misjudgment of where the grenade will go will send it flying all over the place, even back to you.
The multiplayer is so fucking frustrating, the only time I get killed is while I'm shooting someone and 3 other people run out and kill me from behind, it's complete bullshit, the spawning sucks dick on Muliplayer and it never seems to be to my advantage.
