When I can actually get a match or two in, usually by the third match that happens to me.
That's my main way of getting out of the game because it happens so much to me, actually.

Say what you want, but this isn't Max Payne. It's a "shoot 2 guys and watch the 2 minutes long bullshit cutscene" crap for console kids, with drunken chump as the main character who has the voice of Max Payne. I wonder what were the guys from Remedy thinking (or smoking) when they publicly applauded R* for this shit.
Yeah, I admit, it's nice action game and shit, but calling this as Max Payne game? Bitch please.
You played it a little. So, the first mission? Yeah, it's kinda run and gun, but the later missions are much slower, much more story oriented.

It does get better as you get further in. I do wish max wasn't such a drunk though.
One thing that bothered me was Max's last line in MP2. "I had a dream of my wife. She was dead, but it was alright." That just kinda seemed to go out the window in MP3.
I wish the max payne wiki wasn't so awful.
Alright, so I'm having problems with Max Payne 3. The game itself runs smoothly so far, but cutscenes are glitchy and frequently crash the game, I have yet to see the end of the first level do to this. It glitched once in the intro of the first level (froze, then skipped a bit), crashed once after the part where you shoot the guy sliding from the roof, and crashed 4 times on the part where the Police show up in the Armoured Truck (I haven't been able to pass that part yet). I've searched but the game is still new, there aren't many results, and none were helpful. Maybe someone here can help?

Yeah I wondered about that too. It sounded like he was finally recovering at the end, I don't know why he took such a nosedive off-screen.

I also hate how if you slow down bullet time too much it automatically skips ahead. I should be able to watch blood spurt out of a man's head for 30 seconds straight if I feel like it. Also wish they had precise slo-mo controls like GTA IV.
Is the Max Payne film worth watching? Was just checking it out on Netflix, their description is hilarious by the way.

Don't worry. Your concerns get addressed pretty heavily for the most part from act 2 onwards. I wasn't too impressed early on myself but I'm glad I held out until act 2 kicked off.

One cutscene kept freezing for me every time, running the game in windowed mode for the duration of that cutscene fixed it. Dunno if that would help you though, sounds a bit different.

i don't think i'm going to continue playing the multiplayer in the future. the weapons aren't well balanced, not to mention the whole rampant cheating thing. maybe i'm unlucky, but every game i've played today has cheaters in it. one game had 3 on the same team. god damn it max payne 3
It's kinda sad that the first thing people do when a new multiplayer game comes out is rush to make cheats for it.
I just lost a deathmatch game because some russian guy had a grenade launcher with infinite ammo. Truly amazing gameplay as you watch your entire team flailing around on the ground because of the physics.
I wish they had done coop, no cheaters, no worries about it dying and it's perfect for a game like this, it would also give you a reason to beat the harder difficulties.
It's weird to see James McCaffrey after playing through Max Payne 3 multiple times.

I haven't run into any cheaters thankfully, but the weapons do need to be balanced better. Pistols shouldn't be out-sniping rifles. Higher level players dominate the server too, saw a level 24 person just mowing everyone down. Though that's an issue with any XP based multiplayer.

I was playing TDM with a level 25 on my team who had two mac-10s with extended mags and a bunch of other shit who completely raped everyone who came against them. The other team was comprised entirely of level 1-9 people.
EDIT: rip level 1 guy who complained about getting killed by some level 30 guy with 1 beretta

So, I unlocked dual-wielding for the PT92. I have extended magazine, a compressor, and a weight reduction thingy on them. I can pretty much shred through anything at close to mid range.
