I really, really wish Max Payne 1 had a good autosave system. I can't stand playing through the game while compulsively pressing F5 after I do anything.

I've had to replay chapter VI about four times since after i complete it it brings me to the menu and doesn't save the progress even though it saves my collectables.

Anyone else wish they could use all the skins in arcade? Its pretty minor and i don't mind not having it but it would be neat taking to the campaign as someone other than max. Edit: Pageking time. Just wait it out a bit, Rockstar will probably patch it soon enough. (Even though it sucks, I wanna play some levels past Chapter 6 ;_;)

He mentions in the intro monologue of MP3 about feeling like he should be over it but he just isn't and alcoholism seemed to be the easiest way to truly numb (the typical 'temporary solutions to complex problems' gig) anything he had for his family. Hell, when he's in Jersey on the flashback by the grave of his wife, he even says that he wishes he died with them. He hated himself for not. Obviously this means he hates himself and really has little respect for himself now so it's no wonder he'd just spend his days drinking away to waste. MP2's ending doesn't even confirm whether or not he was truly over it. He may have mentioned that he was OK, [I]for the moment[/I], when he dreamt of his wife but lets be honest here: He had just gone through hell throughout the game and he had finally avenged the deaths of his family from ALL those responsible. He even had that loose end Mona tied up, if you know what I mean. He may have found temporary relief just from the fact that he no longer had any more questions left to ask regarding those involved with his family. The only thing left for him to do then is to begin coping with the death of his family [I]properly[/I]. He doesn't work for the NYPD he doesn't work for the DEA...he definitely can't just go back any more considering how events unfolded, what's left for a dead-beat cop then? When he's not distracted blasting away mob goombas or psychedelic drug addicts, he's finally back to being the human being that he is. A human being that is suffering deeply inside. Hence how he is in Max Payne 3. It's not far-fetched when you actually take the time to think about it. Also, this is probably my favorite song from the soundtrack.
