I didn't even realize you could sprint until I saw a multiplayer video yesterday. Fuck. :v:

Anyone crash on launch after patching, 1.0.22?

Just finished the game and GOD, Rockstar have pulled it off again. An amazing finish to an amazing game.

Beat the game on Hard. Can't really tell the difference between medium and hard. Hopefully oldschool will be crazier.

Though you seem to have it differently if it comes in the middle of the game. It most often happens during the cutscenes, which are luckily when the game saves, so I don't have to restart the entire level or anything. Sometimes though the screen goes 'invisible' instead (as in I can see my desktop, firefox, steam, whatever I had in the background). Either way the only way to stop the game is to end it with the task manager.

And I saw what I couldn't before, an error, a driver crash. Jesus fuck I spent a week trying to fix that last time and now it's back? Well looks like I don't be able to play this game without crashes then because some stupid unfixable error.

Replaying the campaign on medium, partially to get all those Golden Guns. Jesus, I dunno how many times you think you look everywhere in a place and yet the method of finding certain pieces is completely obscure [sp]like in Chapter 2, where you go through the nondescript door to loop around to the second DJ Booth[/sp]. Not to mention the game's habit of unpredictably putting you into a cutscene if you near something or if you trigger something manually, making it difficult to gauge whether you can backtrack a little incase you missed something or not. I've already missed some clues again, too, hard to figure out exactly where they are with such small interaction trigger spots for them. And now i'm seeing why some people are pissed at Max's cutscene incompetence and weapon switching; I fucking [i]hate[/i] the game's revolver, it fires too slowly and oddly for my taste; yet after the helicopter part in Chapter 2, I suddenly had my pistol replaced with, of course, a revolver.

Crashes getting more and more and more frequent, I can't go more than [B]four minutes[/B] without crashing. Game has officially become unplayable.

God dammit, haven't been able to join a single multiplayer game this morning.... It just goes to that infinite loading loop. Oh well, maybe later. Whos dick I need to suck to get an invite to the crew?

Lowering texture detail makes it happen less often, but it will still happen. After a ton of searching, I found something that fixed it entirely for me; open up windows services (start->services.msc) and disable the Windows Display Manager and kill wdm.exe in the taskmanager. This will disable Aero effects though. Did this yesterday and played for about 4 hours without interruption, instead of the driver "freezing" with that error every 5 minutes. Hope it helps you!
