i want a multiplayer map that takes place on the airport, with moving walkways and escalators and all that jive
Whoa, this is interesting. There are both high-def and low-def models for the classic characters.
Open social club and log out, it'll take you back to the splash screen so you don't have to restart.
Thank you, I was wondering how to get out of that without quitting.

I'd love to see a classic classic Sam Lake Max with his original cardboard smug face.
Wow, the last few games I have played I've encountered guys cheating with unlimited health. Didn't R* send out a patch about this?

They said they knew about the cheaters and are going to do something about it.
GameShield IronWrap is the anti-cheat that MP3 uses. Clearly not any good.

They used his low def model for the promotional image, oddly enough.

I think they were the placeholders while modelers worked on the high def models.
I've tried replacing the high def files with the low def files, but there's no difference so I must be doing something wrong.
So I think I just got into a hacked lobby. Match time was 230 minutes.
hawaiian shirt is out!
buying one right now, fuck the police
$80 with shipping and taxes
yeah I'll stick with a cheap knock-off thank you
Is it just me or does bullet time last way too short on singleplayer? Is it difficulty based?
Man tonnes of players having like 40 kills and 5 deaths. Hacks?

I probably just suck.
Pistols are godly. They're accurate, have a high rate of fire (as fast as you can click) and they have like no spread. You'll hit your targets more often than they would you with an assault rifle at the same range. My best match online was in Hoboken Apartments and I went 38 and 8 with dual 1911's, attached with accuracy, ammo and damage modifiers. It was a large match so there were plenty of kills to go around and a lot of the players still put up quite a fight.
I feel like I'm cheating with pistols because they blast people away with such ease. It seems like a lot of people are starting to catch on to that so they start using pistols more. The most deadly weapons seem to be pistols, the mini-30 and that semi-auto sniper that seems to one-shot you at just about any range. I personally prefer the mpk over most weapons though, to be honest.
They need to add some spread to pistols in MP, there is almost no point in using any guns but dual PT92s/1911s. I mean, I sometimes get killed by only 2 pistol shots, even with armor. While I sometimes survive 4+ assault rifle shots.
Sorry if this has been answered or solved before in the previous pages, but I've recently got Max Payne 3 PC on retail, after playing some single-player and a few rounds at multi-player, I leveled up to around rank 7. Took a break and exited game, came back an hour later all my stats were gone, and it shows in Social Club all 0s both single-player and multi-player, anyone know what the problem is? thanks
Just playing, the words "Stripper" and "Cake" flashed up on the screen. Why are those words important dammit R*?
Well you gotta remember, they developed this game with consoles in mind. Using pistols only on console must be hard (where as just holding down the fire button with a full auto weapon would be easy) which is why they made them so powerful and accurate.
It's nice that no one realizes how OP the FAL is. I'm always the only one using it in a match, which usually ends like this.

I give the gun 2 weeks until everyone starts using it.

ANYONE know what the two little hashmarks are on the end of the crew tag? I'm really curious.
Also: The only way the 1911 is better than the PT92 is that it has more range. That's it.
the marks on the tags mean its a founder crew. crews that were made before a certain date.

SAY GOODBYE, MOTHERFFFFFFFFF-
So yeah, replaying campaign on Medium for clue and golden gun hunts. First playthrough on Easy was marveling at the game; second playthrough's nitpicking for foreshadowing and technical issues. And goddamn are some of the transitions from cutscene-to-gameplay annoying. Whether it's always switching to the pistols except in sniping or vehicle segments (and sometimes putting a new pistol, revolver or M10 over whatever you had previously), to segments that have small breaks between cutscenes for no relative reason, really.
And most annoyingly, situations that sort of just give a middle finger to you no matter what you do; one transition at the [sp]Branco offices[/sp] literally throws you into a gunfight while you're still not standing in cover. The enemies don't fire right away, to give you a second and all, but i'm pretty sure the same thing happens later on in the game a couple times as well. The insane accuracy is a nightmare even on Medium when they randomly decide to either slightly injure you or take off half your health bar with a single bullet, no joke. And, while not too much of a problem on PCs unless you're just not good at aiming, headshots are so damn essential because later enemies can practically absorb an entire magazine from a FAL into their flak jacket chests and yet [sp]even when you get your own[/sp] you're so vulnerable all the way through, except in vehicle segments.
Combine this with the Campaign's habit of not saving the exact chapter you're on when you quit and, for some reason, not registering your actions at random (making Golden Gun and clue hunts pointless if the game doesn't save 'em), and it's more frustrating than it really should be. Not to mention, it feels like the patch just made the connectivity problems worse.
Man, I vented too much. It's still a great game and all, but now i'm just not seeing it as positively as I was when I first played through.
This game could have been the pinnacle of smooth transitioning if not for switching back to the god damn pistol every single time, especially when theres no ammo in it
Is it just me or does bullet time last way too short on singleplayer? Is it difficulty based?
Yeah it's difficulty based, that's why I'm trying to get gold medals in arcade mode for all the levels so I can unlock unlimited bullet time.
I don't get the difference between paranoia 1 and 2. Level one makes enemies see their teammates as hostiles. Level 2 just says puts a bounty on an enemy and enables friendly fire. What does that mean? The other team gets rewarded for killing a teammate or something?
And does it notify/reward you when your paranoia causes a teamkill?
Can somebody invite me to the facepunch crew? My social club name is "dragonbasher"
