Finally got multiplayer to work, and damn it's awesome. It's great fun, but I didn't like the larger versions of gamemodes. It just gets way too hectic. imo 4v4 is the perfect number of players. Anything more is just half the people fighting in the middle with no sense of what's what, and the other half are sitting behind cover with rifles just gunning down anyone at a distance.

Did anybody else have bad guys surrender? I have only had it happen once in the police station. It was really cool.

How do you activate those err "perks" in Multiplayer? Like I got the one where you fire a flare to mark enemy positions.

I felt pretty bad, since in games I usually try and leave as many people alive as possible. The one time a guy decides to surrender it catches me off guard, and I shoot him anyway.

One guy tried to surrender I think. He busted through a door and when he saw me, he put his hands up and all, but it all happened so quick I already shot him.

We'd need some kind of RDR style zombie expansion to see them return.[/sp]

Is Max Payne 3 any good on PC? I know Rockstar isn't the best with its PC games and these genres typically have better control on consoles, but PC has much more potential. Are the controls clunky? Good performance? Better buying for PC than console?

Better buying for PC than console?[/QUOTE] The aiming is probably the best I've seen from a 3rd person pc game and may be one of the most optimized games I've seen. It runs very smoothly.

I am getting so fucking sick of being killed by either the Mini-30 or dual wield PT92's. When this game first came out, I felt like when I died it was a deserved death. Now it's just like I am getting cheated under a hail of 5.56 and 9mm rounds.

It doesn't even do that stupid "assign multiple actions for one key" thing you see with most ports. Definitely better than the console version.

The Barret 50cal is worse than the awp in css. It just isn't even fun playing when someone is using that gun. If an enemy is using it, you get killed as soon as you leave cover. If a teammate is using it, you never get to kill anything. [editline]11th June 2012[/editline] Just played Gang Wars and won the first 4 rounds and I'm the only one that gets team switched so I automatically lose. I really hope they fix some of this stuff.

The 360 version of Max Payne 3 online community seems to be dying or is at least not at the population I want. Too bad my graphics card is dieing and I can't game on my PC anymore till I bite the bullet and get a new card. EDIT: edited for grammar nazis :eng101:

Aiming works fantastically and it's well optimized.

I love the game so far, but did anyone else find the single player quite repetitive? It feels to me as if it's just "run to the next room and shoot everyone" over and over.
