Changes the view from one shoulder to the other.
...You mean to tell me that there's been an option to do that all along? I am so fucking pissed; I went through the whole game like that.
Wasn't really new to me since this game has almost exactly the same default controls as RDR.
Could someone upload the MP1 mod editor? I got the game on Steam and it didn't come with it.
You guys never invited me. Foosili.
Every damn time I try to play Gang Wars, 4 out of 5 time it'll either be an infinite loading, it'll disconnect, give some random error or something else.
Every damn time I try to play Gang Wars, 4 out of 5 time it'll either be an infinite loading, it'll disconnect, give some random error or something else.
I found out today that the one 4chan guy was right; it's not quite infinite loading, it's someone on the list simply not being able to load the level and causing everyone else to be stuck on the screen until their loading fixes or otherwise. Add onto that the people that leave and then new people take their spots and also have to load. At least, this is what I assume is the case; got two cases of 'infinite loading' but simply waited them out and then managed to get into both games. If anything, it's a problem with Rockstar's method of starting multiplayer matches; anyone can come and go as they please mid-match, but it forces itself to wait until everyone's loaded up from the lobby, which is probably the main problem.
Just starting chapter 9. [sp]I was told my small issues with the plot would be improved later on. So far they have not been. Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely loving every second of this game. It's just at this point I'm wondering why they didn't just do the whole game in Hoboken. So far everything happening in Brazil is more of a job to Max and doesn't seem very personal. Does anyone else feel the same way(warn me if you're posting spoilers for any chapter after 8)?[/sp]
You should bind it to something else for easy access.
I have mine binded to one of my mouse thumb buttons. It's so fucking useful. I absolutely hated it when the game would randomly switch the camera to the other side.

The first game was about avenging his wife and daughter's deaths, the second game was about resolving things with the rest of the characters, and the third game is just... some random shit that just sort of happens.

It seemed to me he did it only out of his personal convictions.
Okay when you take multiple screenshots in a short amount of time, isn't steam supposed to not include the screenshot overlay in the shots? For example this: [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/577833040243801986/45599896060DDD8497BD489FDB4EFA54F9F23391/[/t] I'm pretty sure Steam isn't supposed to take a picture of that overlay. Screwed up a few of my good shots(including my favorite screenshot). Regardless I'm amazed at how many wallpaper worthy screenshots I got during actual gameplay. Not cutscenes, no console commands or editing, just playing. I mean it's absolutely fantastic. Also I remember this one argument about Max talking about everything like he was speaking to us, rather to himself. Well, how many of guys a had chance to visit this city? He is explaning because he is the same situation you guys are: on a place far away from home, where he doesn't know the language (I mean, really, at least the basics he should know) and things went to shit a lot fast. To me, it's different: I'm playing the game seeing like what a foreigner ('gringo') would see my country. Most things that happens in the game [sp](except the endgame and blowing up planes)[/sp] happens for real here, I mean, the rich are very rich (:downs:) and throws parties all the time, and the poor are very poor ('How many poor kids want nice sneakers?') and several other things like [sp]corrupt forces working with the gangs, sorry, criminal organizations, cutting deals and shit. I suspect that illegal body parts trafficking happens here, but the media hasn't discovered that yet.[/sp] And like I said before, besides the fake places (the club, the favela, the bus terminal), this is São Paulo, from best to worst; Rockstar really captured the city's feeling. Just giving my input. Also finally my city gets some love from devs, suck it Rio de Janeiro. Anyone know a good way to rank up faster? I've been playing TDM most of the time, and occasionally some Deathmatch and Payne Killer. Some levels just take forever to get through...
The first Max Payne is about Max avenging the death's of wife and kid, basically. The second game is coming full circle and cutting out everyone ever involved in their deaths. The third game is about him getting over their deaths and how necessary it is for him to literally leave the country to finally find peace with himself and everyone involved with him. So what's significant about what happens in the third? Well, he still goes by his cop mentality (loyalty to the badge to the end I suppose). He feels somewhat obligated to be here to do something good to give himself closure from the clusterfuck failure of a life he has lead for the last few years. He can't explain what drives him but he ponders on the idea that perhaps he's doing it because it's not just morally right but it's also giving him a purpose thus satisfaction, imo. He hates himself. He's guilty of all the friends he has lost, guilty for [sp]the affair with Mona Sax[/sp], guilty for [sp]killing the model cop Winterson[/sp]. I think it's clear that he's doing everything as a means of redeeming himself once more. If he's killed in the process then he doesn't care; At least he'd know he died doing something morally right. There is absolutely no reason why Max, given the comics, the ending of MP2 etc. for another Max Payne game in NYC again. MP3 makes perfect sense for what he's doing if you ask me.
I'd like to mention as a guy in Joisey, the Hoboken levels are 100% accurate to living in this state. Hell, Chapter 4 was my daily commute to elementary school every day.

I guess that PassosBro will die on Argentina, too much exposure to Max Payne makes me wonder why he didn't die already. [editline]14th June 2012[/editline] Also I saw a woman, on my way to college with a shirt with 'Max Payne 3' on it. This one here: https://www.rockstarwarehouse.com/Product.aspx?pSKU=RS-TEE-MAX3-LG
So what happened to the footage someone took of FAPS's game of tag?
So having things go to shit during a Gang Wars retrieval match, I decide enough is enough and decide to do something silly. I shoot dodge of a high roof in Tiete Docks and holy shit. Three headshots are accomplished before landing, rolling to cover then letting lose with a looted AK at the rest of the enemy team then sprinting to pick up the bag. Retrieval is the best damn gamemode, hands down.

The third game is Max attempting to redeem himself. He feels so guilty for everything he did in the second game, as well as for the death of his family, that he feels the need to do everything he can to save this woman. He's trying to prove to himself that after all this shit he's still a good man.
When I was banned from facepunch yesterday, I could join EVERY SINGLE game successfully. Now that I'm not, I can't join shit. If anyone wants to play this game, get banned from facepunch. There is no other way!
Just finished the game. My god it is amazing.
Nah that's why i love the ending [sp]Max is free, he's like an Uncle or a Godfather to Passos' kid; they're the family he never had, he's going to protect them growing up as repentance for not protecting his own kid and wife; it's like a chance to redeem himself by giving him a second chance.[/sp]
That sounds plausible, but how the Hell is he going to do that now? [sp]The ending showed him in Baha or some shit, I'm expecting that he's not going to be able to just help them whenever.[/sp] Also he's pretty old, too. He's a fat, bad tempered American :v:

But honestly, I don't really see Max Payne 3 as essential to the overall Max Payne story. Though I would definitely recommend it to any fan. Also, this is an incredibly intelligent and interesting read about Max Payne 3's multiplayer.: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.378641-Dear-Rockstar-What-the-hell
Does everyone here think Multiplayer is well balanced? Also I applied for the FP group but I dont think I'm in
Does everyone here think Multiplayer is well balanced? Also I applied for the FP group but I dont think I'm in
It really depends on the loadouts folks bring into a round. If everyone's running around with AKs, Mini Uzis and pistols, it's typically pretty fun (although pistols are pin-point accurate with next to no spread, so they're a wee bit on the OP side if used excellently). But if people are running about with the Mini-30 or the one sniper rifle and heavily armor up to survive retaliation (although they might also go without armor), there's bound to be issues since the Mini-30 is also pretty accurate if you don't try to shoot it rapidly, and the sniper rifle one-hit kills. [editline]14th June 2012[/editline] Also, fuck you people who use the RPG in Payne Killer mode. :v:
