Seriously guys, this is getting annoying. I tried changing the settings by editing that graphics file, which sounded like sound advice at first, but now it crashes before it even reaches the main menu unless I start it in safe mode.

so, i finally loaded up the multi-player for this game. and as it turns out, its fun, but the hit-boxes are laggy as fuck, i shoot a guy around 10 times, only a few register, then he proceeds to make me Swiss cheese.

weirdly enough, the first few matches i played in MP i topped the score boards. but that was just rookie games. like 5 matches later i was already in the normal MP playlists.

Well it should be that way considering the mini-30 is absolutely ridiculous and so is the sniper.
Honestly, I like pistols being overpowered right now since pistols are what Max Payne is all about. I mean the game is full of ridiculous balance issues; it's like Rockstar didn't even test the game out before shipping it. As long as they rebalance the game entirely, I'd be fine with a pistol nerf, but as it stands I think rifles need to be completely reworked.

All I'm saying is rifles should own people like the pistols do, not the other way around.

I actually get the feeling that they basically took over the damage values and balancing from the singleplayer rather than rebalanced them completely. Then again, all it takes is two-three pistol shots and almost anyone dies unless they're armored body shots, so it's practically dying as fast as in Call of Duty half the time.
Just a heads-up, the update is now available on PC - for Steam, at least.
