Kinda glad I didn't buy the Rockstar Pass. The game is fun, I just have no real interest to play it.

I got max Payne 3 for PS3, I also got the Rockstar pass and I can't get the dlc (still showing that i need to pay 5 dollars) Is any one else having this problem?

finally got into 8 vs 8 team deathmatch with guys that were my level 11 to 14 none higher and none less
god it was the best match i ever had becouse i fucking raped everyone
join another match with a bout 3 lvl 30 guys
get insta raped by sniper rifles,grenade launchers and EVERY FUCKING THING THAT MOVES
Just beat the game. Overall it was pretty damn good. The presentation of Max Payne 3 is different from the tone of the first two games, which does at time make it feel less like Max Payne then what Remedy might have developed. That said story is probably the most engaging of the three, at least in my opinion, and is still still full of lows, regret, and bad decisions; and Max's narration is always present.
The level design is amazing. Each chapter takes you a new setting to wreck havoc, and all are full of tiny details and intricacies. The game play feels almost identical to the first two games, though keep in mind it's been awhile since I last played 1 & 2. It's still just as fun dodging bullets and activating slow motion as ever, and those killcams are brutal.
That said, the game does have difficulty spikes, at times, to the point where it feels unfair. These moments are far and few between, and I can only recall three or four instances where they really seemed to just ramp things up to ludicrous levels of difficulty. It's not a game breaker, but they are there, and it's not great.
Also, on a personal note, and not a knock at the game, but I found it very possible to play through Max Payne 3 without utilizing the cover system. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but either way I was pleased you at least had the option of playing the game without resorting to hiding behind chest high walls the whole game. I feel Max Payne (The series) is/was always about freedom of movement and aim, and hiding behind a wall kind of restricts both.
So yeah, great game. Buy it now if you haven't already on Amazon for 50% off, and if you liked the first two games at all.
The spawning still needs work.
I think the matchmaking is so bad because there's never many people playing, and I would attribute the bad spawning to Rockstar never really doing such a CQC multiplayer game before.

Almost every single game has bad spawning nowadays; Call of Duty tries to spawn you near teammates but doesn't take into account whether enemies are near them as well, Blacklight Retribution spawns you all over the damn place except in certain modes and even in those there's a tendency of spawning only to round a corner and get blasted instantly.
It's less like 'inexperience with spawning systems' and more like 'don't know how to avert the possibility of spawning near enemy players' nowadays.

just went to mp all good,took me a LOT to get into a single match all was just join match,load SORRY COULDNT JOIN MATCH
then after i finally joined everything went cat shit i empited all of my sweet mags into the enemy the bar was COMPLETLY OFF yet he walks up and kill me
so i decided to empty fucking every single bullet into theyr corpose
now it doesnt even count a kill, i could just come do about 9 headshots in the same person and yet dont count as kill,assist or anything

Related: Beat the game again, only died 3 times and used LMS 7 times (twice on the final fight; in my defense I was dicking around by that point) as opposed to my first playthrough where I died a whole fuckton. The difficulty in this game is pretty random.

Why does everyone find that part hard? Take the cover right in the beginning, shoot quick and swiftly and blind shoot the pick up truck until it explodes.
I've done it both times and tried everything you guys are suggesting and still get absolutely rocked. The only way I've gotten past the initial part where they show up on the side and up above is to have a full bar of bullet time and atleast 2 pills for LMS.

Just got Maxwell Payne 3 from Amazon sale, is there a way to go cover to cover (or swap from wall to the other?)
I was looking through the textures, and Passos definitely has morph maps (where the clothing folds when you move) for all of his outfits except for the raincoat, but I know I never saw them used ingame. It's really strange they would go to the effort and not use them.

I usually just roll over to the other wall (G).
Finally decided to go through score attack mode, and unlock unlimited bullet time.

Can you stay in bullet time forever, or does it deplete at the normal rate but then instantly recharges?
