In Gang Wars, you can switch loadouts before the round begins and I find it difficult to remember what each loadout has without a unique name.

Doing score attack now, I dunno how some of you guys got so high scores. Near perfect run on one of them (The Favela I think), only one painkiller used, yet I was 20,000 below the top crew member.

It's a stupid system, in one clean bullet dive I could take out an entire roomful of bad guys, and that gives me LESS points than going in and taking multiple shots to take them down.
Some of it is in the technique. Stay on the ground as long as possible because you get x3 for staying prone and make things explode a lot (that is the only way to get platinum on a level or two). Don't try to push for melee kills, either. Those don't let you a lot of points unless you have a crazy multiplier. You also don't get as much points/break multipliers if you miss shots or get shot.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i just played a gang wars match where my team managed to win the first four chapters, but without noticing i was team balanced to the other side because half of the other team quit.
Seeing a Mini 30 camper watching on angle, going all the way around the map avoiding combat to come up behind him and execute him with a single pistol shot is truly gratifying.
I bought the third one, loving it to bits so far
I've never played the first two.
It's annoying people I talk to that my only knowledge of Max Payne is this version

Team balancing is such bullshit when you're keeping your team afloat, annihilating the opposing team and then suddenly all that work goes against you as you end up being team swapped at the last minute and ultimately losing the match because it. It's worse when you're playing TDM.
So is the matchmaking as bad on consoles as it is on PC? A friend and I tried for 45 minutes this evening and couldn't get into a game.
