I had a dream the other day about another Max Payne game coming out which didn't really carry off from MP3 but rather acted as a type of spinoff. It would be like a what-if story where Rose survived and Max died on the Aesir Corporation building.
An old Mona Sax would be mentoring Rose as she would go on her journey to discover the truth behind the deaths of her parents and fight against an older Nicole Horne and her now middle-aged son, who have just begun 'perfecting' Valkyr for military use at the cost of many ravaged neighborhoods and households. Throughout the game Nicole would taunt Rose for being so willing to follow in her father's violent footsteps. At the end the player would have to choose between killing Woden, who in this version of the story never had terminal cancer, and killing Horne, or even both of them.

The weapon specific reticle option is a bit bigger.

I tried replacing multiplayer models before, but it didn't work. Turns out it was because I installed Max Payne 3 twice on different drives and was launching the wrong one.
These models are already in the game files and I'm not using any external modding tools, just replacing files that are in the streampeds folder in "Max Payne 3\pc\models\cdimages". There are the HD remakes of the classic characters, and also the original models from the game. I am pretty sure the original models were placeholders while the modelers did the HD versions. Anyway, you can swap them between different characters, so in theory you could replace the dead soccer player in multiplayer with Max.
DX11 is also applied to them which is funny to see them all smooth.
This doesn't work with singleplayer or arcade models, as they use a different filesystem packed away in an .rpf file. We can't edit these quite yet.
I also try it out on Woden and MP2 Max.

It's almost like the sheer alcohol and painkillers in his system just sort of make him more badass. And, if the comics and circumstances of being a one-man-army throughout nearly the entire series are anything to go by (as we already know), Max has always had some sorta innate asskicking potential and reflexes, like when he saved Alex by [i]leaping over a car and headshotting thugs while wielding akimbo[/i]. [sp]Probably why Woden sent the Valkyr files to Michelle, specifically so that Max would hunt down those who killed her due to his capabilities when pushed.[/sp]

Do you guys think MP3 will go any lower in the sale?
33% is quite a lot for a new release. If it doesn't go any lower, I would imagine it would at least repeat. I would wait for it if you plan on getting the Rockstar Pass, but wouldn't rule out waiting if you just want the game.
I almost want to buy the game again, purely for the help of sales since MP3 hit less than projected.
A game like this, of this quality, does not deserve the sales it has received thus far.
