;36783758'][del]I just finished downloading the game and I am getting the same issue, any known fixes to that? I can't seem to find anything over simple googling.[/del] I'm dumb, apparently verifying game's files solves it, but if the case will be that it wont work I'll reedit/repost.
What I did is installed new graphic drivers and then the game also updated so that seemed to fix the problem.
I have two questions regarding replayability. First, if I want to replay the game on harder difficulty can I do it from the level selection and second, will all the collectibles remain collected?
What I did is installed new graphic drivers and then the game also updated so that seemed to fix the problem.
Verifying the game's files worked alright, now I have a problem with some microstuttering though it's probably because of not turning my PC off for the last 2 days just to download the game.

I would also suggest to keep golden guns on so you get the extra ammo/bonuses for using it. Oh, and somebody in the Remedy forums noticed that the little drawings at the beginning of Max Payne 2 were signed 'Rose'. I checked, they're right. [editline]15th July 2012[/editline] it says 'ROSE 5y' on the drawing. She would have been around 5 years old by the time Max Payne 2 started if she had survived.
How many chapters are in the game? I'm on chapter 10 shit pageking im max payne and i can fly

And, if you look at the other drawings, you'll notice that they're about Max Paynes beginning as well.
Duh, I just never realized the name connection before.
What weapons do y'all use in multiplayer? I've been using the mini-30 and I'm doing well with it. Oh and could someone send me an invite to the facepunch crew?
I've been using the mini-30 and I'm doing well with it.
You and everyone else.
I'm using those dual bull revolvers. Dual anything is bitchin'.
Dual 1911s is where my game is.
I've been using the mini-30
I guess you guys hate mini-30 users.. Sorry :(
I only hate them if they're sniping up in the rafters.

Local Justice is tomorrow for PC right? Where can I buy the Rockstar Pass, that works with the retail version?
FUCK i really cant get used to the aim in this game i either spend too much time moving my reticle to the enemy and get killed or somehow my mouse is too sensitive and it just goes hoping around everything and its a pain to aim at a fucking single thing tried disabling mouse smoothing, using softlock but nothing works! ):
Local Justice is tomorrow for PC right? Where can I buy the Rockstar Pass, that works with the retail version?
As far as I know, you'll have to buy it from a retailer like Gamestop.
ah..finally just turned my settings down, game runs smoother, can aim better feels so smooth soo smooth i even dodge shooted someone above him and head shooteed him fuck yes
As far as I know, you'll have to buy it from a retailer like Gamestop.
I just got it from Amazon. Worked fine.
Just finished the game there now.. Awesome. Now to complete it again on hardcore and do NYM if i survive that long. :v:
I bought Max's Hawaiian Shirt and it came a few days ago. For $40, it's not bad for a Hawaiian style shirt. The picture online is a bit deceiving, thought, because the colors on the shirt (mostly the greens) are more vibrant than they appear.
So, I finished Max Payne 3 today. All in all, I thought this was a fantastic third person shooter. Incredibly tight mechanics, fun levels, cool setpieces, and great gunplay. Awesome violence. This was a fantastic shooter. As a Max Payne game? This was awful. I don't understand why they did this to Max. Why did Max need to be turned into a cover shooter? Why the fuck did Max need to go to Brazil, shave his head and become John McClane? If they wanted to change literally every detail of Max pain save for bullet time and painkillers, why even call it Max Payne anymore? What bothered me most was the Jersey levels. They were amazing. They looked so good. It pissed me off that they showed off they could easily have another story about Max in Jersey, looking like his old self, shooting up mobsters, but they were way more content to have lardass Max shooting up Brazillian police in bright favelas. All of Max's noir dialogue is gone, he doesn't talk like he does in the first two. It's hard to accurately describe, but the first 2 games capture the Noir dialogue perfectly, in the third, Max just resorts to comparing everything to strippers and hookers. All in all, the game seemed more focused on being a Call of Duty game from the third person perspective. Gigantic explosions, jumping from helicopters, shooting down planes with grenades... It sounds like I hated this game. But I really didn't. I loved it. I just... I can't rationalize why it's called Max Payne. It's not Max Payne at all. And one last thing? Mona should be alive.
Maybe it's just the beard and the lack of hair, but it seems to me that these days Billy Joel is looking like an even older Max.

I had no issue with the change in scenery though, it would make sense for Max to not want to hang around New York anymore. It really is a good game, just a weak Max Payne game.
All in all, the game seemed more focused on being a Call of Duty game from the third person perspective.
If we are talking about the singleplayer then I completely disagree. It has a style, story, and dialogue that you wouldn't find near the kind of league the typical CoD game finds itself in, and the mechanics even manage to be better. Yeah it had some huge cinematic moments like destroying planes and helicopters and shit, but so have previous Max Paynes. The end of MP1 is still one of the most ridiculous endings I've seen in a video game. I agree that it isn't the Max Payne we have seen before, but I still consider it a Max Payne game. It has solid shootan, good story, and great dialogue with funny characters and serious villains. It was one of the most enjoyable singleplayer experiences I've had in a game in months, probably years. Now if we are talking bout the multiplayer I completely agree. The multiplayer feels like a massive missed chance. It's still theoretically fun under perfect conditions but I would not doubt you for a second if you told me the multi was made by the Call of Duty B-Team. Unbalanced as shit weapons? Check. Laggy gameplay, buggy interface? Check. Grind in a shooter to get guns you want? Check. It's really fun some of the time, and unendingly frustrating most of the time.
