user-made? I'm assuming that means the ridiculous crews rockstar made aren't in the running, If that is the case we totally got this.

Reminds me, we should set a date and get a bunch of people together to play some matches so there's actually some population on the servers we play.

How can I join the Facepunch Gang anyway?...It says it doesn't approve any more members.

Speaking of VPNs, I pay for a service to let me watch American Netflix because Canadian Netflix isn't too great. I left it on the other day on my PC and went for a game of Max Payne 3, but my game either crashed while loading into a game or wouldn't connect. Very odd. I also found out that I can't play Max Payne 3 after midnight. It's when all the Russians come out with bad connections and sync problems. I'm in Latvia[I](of course you don't know this country)[/I], EU. Using Social Club, I can't connect to my friends and they can't connect to me, one friend is russian, second one is british, so it's odd. Moreover, when I try to matchmake, I actually sometimes find people to play with, the loading is going on, and then suddenly [I]"You've been kicked for a connection issue"[/I]. But I somehow was able to play 4 rounds without lag or stuff. I just think of doing this: launch game with VPN, turn it off when I'm in-game and try to play using my IP. I've download game itself using my own IP, so I think it could work: as I suppose, Steam only needs russian IP only to run the game, because the game itself has only one connection with Steam - achievements. All other stuff is on Social Club, which, as I suppose, doesn't give a shit too. I might be wrong, [U]for sure[/U]. [sp]Throw boxes at me then.[/sp]

And most of the matches I got into were playing DLC maps.

It's opposite for me, I have all the DLC and I played only about 10 times on those maps. But at least I have no problem finding matches with decent number of players.

I'm curious, what's your favourite MP avatar and loadout? I might post some of my later.

I recently did legend so I lost my dual deagles/sawn offs, so I'm using dual Mac 10s for now as I am not very accurate. The Galil/IMG that came with the latest DLC is really fucking good. Punchinellos with Max's head looks rad with a vest.

It depends on the gamemode you play, but most of the maps are stock. I usually get into 1 or 2 DLC games, though. The DLC maps are generally better than the stock maps except for some exceptions. If you have a Steam copy of MP3, the Rockstar Pass is probably going to be on sale in a few days for the Steam holiday sale.

Gonna have MP3 on PS3 on christmass, wondering if the MP is well populated.

So I recently reinstalled Max Payne 3. I had bought the ~special edition~ or something. Just to be clear, that DIDN't come with an online pass, did it?

How is the multiplayer for this? Is it fairly active to play? I'm not expecting a huge massive playerbase but just wanting to know that if I buy the game and join a match, there'll be players to put me with and I won't be waiting for ages. If so, would the DLC warrant a purchase too? Not bad for season pass at £5.
