THE CATTLE PROD
Not just for herding livestock anymore. Use the Cattle Prod to get your enemies in line - perfect for running up on opponents in close quarters and freezing them with a high voltage shock before you finish them off with a devastating melee attack. Having a splash effect, this weapon has the ability to hit multiple targets that are bunched up close together in a defensive stance. A bunch of camping bastards waiting around the corner for you? Pop out – zap em – and then calmly unload while they’re frozen in shock.

THE STUN GUN
The stun gun is an ideal weapon for incapacitating your enemy. By temporarily cutting off muscle movement, your adversary will be utterly helpless. Capable of making contact from a short to medium distance range, your target will drop to the floor instantly, giving you the ability to end them with ease. The stun gun is especially useful against players with above-average health, such as Takedown targets in Gang Wars or those using the Big Dog and Unstoppable Bursts.

PEPPER SPRAY
Pepper Spray can be a dastardly and beneficial tool. Equip it in one hand with a trusty firearm in the other, and spray it in enemies’ faces to temporarily blind them. Then bring the pain. The Pepper Spray has the same blinding effect as the strongest level of the Hangover burst.
THE NIGHT STICK
The Night Stick has been a reliable tool for civil law enforcement going back to Victorian times. In Max Payne 3 Multiplayer, you can equip it to not only issue a good old fashioned melee beatdown when in close combat - but also to give the unlucky player on the wrong end of the stick a spawn disadvantage – poor vision, low health and stamina. The Night Stick is particularly useful in team games, where a teammate can get an easy kill on a respawned player.
THE BOUNCING BETTY
A brand new projectile, the Bouncing Betty is quite the versatile weapon. If you like to snipe, just tactically place a Betty where you think enemies will attempt to sneak attack you and they will be toast. Another helpful strategy is to place them in high traffic movement areas, such as doors and entrances, guaranteeing you some kills. This weapon is also great for Gang Wars during capturing and protecting rounds. The Betty might be smaller than a breadbox but it is capable of some very rewarding destruction.
The Deathmatch Made in Heaven Pack will be available tomorrow for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE and $9.99 on PC and PSN in North America (this pack will be available for PS3 players in Europe on January 30th). Of course, Rockstar Pass owners will receive this content at no additional charge.
I can't wait to use The Bouncing Betty in Branco HQ. :v:
Oh boy, I can foresee the many shades of red, fitful rage and frustration I will be having from abuse of those weapons.
I'm a bit disappointed there aren't any new maps.
All of these....

Ohmawgauwd the co-op gamemode is amazing in so many ways. I love Rockstar.
god dammit i just got the game to finally work just for it to pop up saying " LICENCE CORRUPTED REINSTALL GAME" ( using retail copy)
DAMMIT
Nevermind.
Is Dead Man Walking singleplayer as well or do you need to coop?
Is Dead Man Walking singleplayer as well or do you need to coop?
It's co-op, but you should try setting up a private match and see if it works.
I can't get the new DLC to load in my game. I have the season pass, but it doesn't appear in the owned DLC menu on steam and in-game when I go to the store, it shows "reboot required" on the new DLC, but rebooting the game doesn't change anything.
Have you tried restarting Steam?
Dead men walking is fantastic.
Dead men walking is pretty awesome, though it really sucks that there's only 2 maps, I was really looking forward to playing it on roscoe street.
This mode was literally the perfect addition for the game. Just pure, non-stop fun.

Too bad it had to end like it did.
I am still currently downloading the DLC, but there was a title update earlier that was to add support for the DLC. I had a look through the files, and saw something that made me very happy. It wasn't announced specifically by Rockstar, and I haven't checked the DLC yet if it even makes an appearance.
Here's a hint. It's an oversized hat.

Baseball Bat Boy mascot head?
How many players does dead men walking support?
2 maximum.
2 maximum.
That's disappointing, figured though seeing as paynekiller is the same.
Love Dead Man Walking and the new arcade gamemode, too
Throwing molotovs at tasered players will never get old.

His entire body is in the DLC files, including an elderly version of him.

There's also been audio files for him in the game since launch. I think Rockstar was planning on having him in Run and Stun, but decided Saci was a better fit at the last minute.
They'll probably add him as a special deathmatch character that you can unlock in a social event or something.
Got some questions about Dead Man Walking - other than the starting weapons and painkillers, does your multiplayer loadout come into it, or are those picked up / earned as you go? Grenades, abilities, etc.
If not, would that mean having to play the competitive end of MP3 to get those for use in Dead Man Walking, or do you earn experience in that mode as well?
Multiplayer loadout doesn't affect DMW. You can use Passos/Max outfits you unlock for multiplayer in DMW, though. This includes MP1 and MP2 Max from the Classic Characters DLC. Otherwise, you use the default Max/Passos for that map.
Here's some shitty news. I was rather confident Rockstar would be adding maps over time in title updates, but apparently not right now.

I wasn't expecting it honestly, to be honest. All that's going to happen is a few more events then R* are just going to drop it.
What the fuck? Where did challenge mode come from? It's in the arcade menu. It's pretty damn cool.

It gives you things to try between fire fights, like killing enemies in area with ONLY headshots, ONLY in bullet time, ONLY out of cover, ONLY while shootdodging and so on.
