I always went bullet time, zoomed in with the sniper, went around the corner and shot a guy, went back around. Rinse and repeat.

Just replayed Max Payne 2, finished in 4 hours, which is a personal record. Screwed up a few too many times at the Mona sniper part.

I've completed it thrice on different difficulties. My hardest run yet and it was the quickest I've done - I keep screwing up the mission with Mona where you have to protect Payne from the commandos. It's a bullshit level.

You are right about the level being crap. I mostly spend my time reloading saves made before a slow-mo "killcam". Nothing like dropping cleaners from the 50th floor to the ground below.

God, no. I got it for free on +. The PS3 version is a straight port from the PS2, which is a crappy port from the PC. No trophies, no HD updates no nothing. If I recall the PS2 version had levels that were cut up worse than a Hollywood bimbo, not to mention the wonky controls and graphics and loading times.

Why not get the PC version? You're guaranteed to be able to run it - I managed to get it working decently on a freakin' netbook a while back - and you'll have the added benefit of being able to mod the game.

Nah, skimmed them through since I've played this one so many times before with about three different mods. Went with vanilla this time around and on hardest difficulty skipping all cutscenes (why oh why do they have loading screens when you try to skip them) and saw that Steam said I had finished in 4 hours from start to finish.
What weapon(s) should I add to my Max Payne 2 mod? I did a revolver/dual revolvers and dual sawed-off shotguns as a test. I'll probably just steal the models from FPSBanana or something.

Would it be possible to do like a pistol/revolver in one hand and something else in the other?
