God damnit the hype is killing me.
Also watched a stream form /v/. OP was a huge idiot that stayed in cover all day.
Slight gameplay spoiler : [sp] The song in the first tv spot will accompany Max as he shots his way out of an airport[/sp]

Impressions from a guy that beated MP3 (NO SPOILERS)
i've just finished max Payne 3 on the xbox (RF release) , for those of you who will buy it , it;s worth every penny (at least for the single player campaign). honestly it's very intense and the time just flies by , it;s better than a blockbuster movie

well it;s though to say because i played on normal and it got tricky in some parts and i kept on dying so i got frustrated and changed it to easy (it;s still a challenge but nothing anyone here can't handle) i would say 20-25h on normal and 15-18 on easy ... keep in mind that there are cinematics all over the place , and it;s quite nice because you have to have the controller in your hand at all times . it's just awesome , best third person shooter i have ever played ( and i played a but loud of them). The game is so well made ... and the attention to every single detail makes it a freakin masterpiece can wait till you guys try it out
-snip i am not good with computer-
The radio tower helicopter mashup in Max Payne was thrilling. You could hear the rotors picking up speed and the pilot counting down to liftoff. It was fucking terrifying.
The end was fucking satisfying though, seeing that bitch plummet to the ground.
i would say 20-25h on normal and 15-18 on easy ...
Holy fuck, seriously?!

Post on Reddit about Max Payne 3 release and relation to why we should all buy it for PC.
My god, this could be a test to see if the PC community is deserving enough to actually get a GTA V PC release. QUICK, EVERYONE BUY 3 COPIES
To be honest, Max Payne 3 is supposedely one of those games pirating which is wrong in so many ways.
Well that was scary... Max Payne 1's audio was messed up on Win 7 (Ive fixed it now though) it went really quiet and then Michelle's scream almost made me deaf.
It fixes the sounds, but still doesn't allow listening of Max's monologue or cutscenes.
It fixes the sounds, but still doesn't allow listening of Max's monologue or cutscenes.
you sure? i used it and everything was fine, try running it in XP compatibility mode
It fixes the sounds, but still doesn't allow listening of Max's monologue or cutscenes.
I used that patch last week on Windows 7 and it worked just fine. Monologues and cutscenes included.
endbosses in the first 2 games were confusing at first, but i got them at my second try.
second one was annoying though, keeping your focus at the bolts up high and the floor beneath you to not drop down was pretty hard
What do you mean, endboss of the second game was as easy as beating up a sleeping grandmother, [sp]one time he even burned himself with his molotovs after I got the bolts[/sp] It's easier to shoot them out with bullet time, you can get all first 4 from one position and 2 second ones without moving.
you sure? i used it and everything was fine, try running it in XP compatibility mode
I'm not technology savvy, so I don't understand what you mean by "XP compatibility mode".
It doesn't work.
have you put the files in the main MP folder then run the maxbatch file?
have you put the files in the main MP folder then run the maxbatch file?
I think I'll reinstall everything and try again.
I think I'll reinstall everything and try again.
it's not hard all you have to do is
#1 put all the files from MaxPayneSoundPatchv1.12 in the main MP folder
#2 run the .bat file then press E after it's done loading
#3 wait
#4 play MP
Our crew should all wear gas masks and body armour and make a new crew called The Autistic Gas Faggots because that sums up FP nicely
Holy fuck, seriously?!
I don't know but it still seems like an overestimate. Remember that we don't know the guy's skill level and he might be clouded by his like for the game. I'll assume a 10 hour length or so until I actually play it. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it actually does take 20 hours when not counting deaths.
We should all wear gasmasks.
And fedoras.
And fedoras.
Add some scarves.

Wow shit, I thought it was still like another month
25 hours is too good to be true, it's probably around 12 like rockstar said.
Not that i mind, the multiplayer looks decent enough to fill in the rest.
5 days left for Europe, my pants are spinning with anticipation just like with SSBB few years back. I hope it's as worth the wait as SSBB was, which it would definitely seem to be.
I like how they made shootdodging require a bit more tactical usage this time, you can't jump over a table taller than you or you'll leave yourself open as you stumble up.
It kind of sucks how people can play multiplayer early on consoles, it means that Facepunch wont have a fair chance to be the best crew that ever was :(
And fedoras.
Fuck that, I'll be sleeves-rolled-down fingerless gloves guy.
