Why is this being release half a month later on PC? Is the $30 dlc pass also going to apply to the PC version? And will the preorder bonuses become paid dlc later? Is it just me or does anyone else not like the fact that they've planned [i]more[/i] than $30 worth of dlc before the game even comes out.

Okay I have a question. Are there any major reasons to get this on PC over consoles? Normally I'd go with PC no question, but I have a feeling multiplayer will live much much longer on consoles. RDR came out in 2010 and still has tons of online players, while for example the latest Assassins Creed has only been out for 6 months and on PC it's completely empty. I'm wondering if this is a PC/Console trend deciding the life of the games, or whether it has to do with the games themselves.

Max Payne 3 doesn't have a PC multiplayer as far as i know, with large player counts, dedicated servers and all that, but i bet it won't die that soon, it's a big title on the PC. Just look at GTA IV, it has that shitty matchmaking, not a very PCish thing at all, but it's still alive, while Max Payne 3 will be steamworks based(i think) and much better on that aspect. So i doubt it will die any soon. Off course, the graphics are better too, and you can get Max Payne 1 & 2 if you pre-order it on steam until tomorrow ($44 USD for latin america too, if i'm not mistaken).

After watching some gameplay videos while knowing portuguese, the "outsider" feel is mostly gone, but I'm surprised that they went with an actually realistic portuguese with swearing and slangs and no "politically correct" portuguese unlike other games/movies that are in Brazil, and also living in São Paulo, I can say that they really captured the feel of the city, I'm amazed at the detail they put into this game, and I'm probably not sleeping tonight waiting for this.

I'm torn between having to go downtown to the store and waiting in line for ~20-30 minutes to pick up max payne 3 at midnight and playing for 1-2 hours (i have to work tomorrow), or installing diablo 3 since it's already downloaded and playing right at midnight and then just picking up max payne 3 after i'm done work tomorrow. Words can't describe how envious I am of people picking this up on Xbox and PS3 tomorrow.

Being a Singaporean I have zero idea of when the game is actually coming out here. The local game websites list it as May 15, but the ad I saw in the cinema before watching Avengers said May 18. It's May 15 now, so I'll go down to the shop once it opens and see if it's there.
