Who's disappointed that the PC release is needlessly delayed another two weeks? I KNOW I AM!
My word. The amount of people here with insider knowledge is staggering. I mean they seem to know that Rockstar is needlessly pushing the pc release. But maybe, what if it's needed. Besides, it would be foolish going against Diablo III, eve if the games couldn't be further away from each other.

Pushing the release for another 2 weeks is to make the pc version more optimized. You saw how bad GTA IV was on pc.. needless to say, its worth the wait

Shut up and go there. I guess nobody here plays MP3 on consoles? I mean it was released today in US and you're talking about Diablo 3.
"Lack of freedom" Unfortunately that thing has plagued so many games it's almost becoming standard. Let's hope not.
i don't get that complaint, some games are meant to be linear. max payne 1 & 2 are incredibly linear.
i don't get that complaint, some games are meant to be linear. max payne 1 & 2 are incredibly linear.
Most games of this type are extremely linear but this is one of the few games lately where its been brought up as a con.
My gamefly rental is on the way. I couldn't wait for the PC version. Once its out on PC I will switch over.
Remember to post lots of impressions! Especially about the multiplayer. Loading times, customization possibilities, laggyness, tell me everything! By the way, how much does renting a game cost there?
Finally Preordered on steam. I can officially begin to get excited now.

This online pass bullshit has made renting more difficult but luckily Rockstar didn't jump on that ship.

Anyone missing the constipated Max's MP1 look, can rejoice! In 3rd, when playing arcade mode, you can choose different skins, MP1 one included, complete with constipated face! Remodeled, too, so those interested in making ragdolls will def. be pleased. And there is his MP2 look, aswell.

Story driven games should be reviewed off the story's depth and not linearness
Story driven games should be reviewed off the story's depth and not linearness
Deus Ex? Batman: Arkham City? Grand Theft Auto IV? Story-driven games aren't exclusively linear.
Deus Ex? Batman: Arkham City? Grand Theft Auto IV? Story-driven games aren't exclusively linear.
Of course not, but if the driving force is the story, it shouldn't matter if the game's linear or free-roam. You're playing for the story after all.
That just looks like the MP1 model with MP1 textures.
That's why it's the Max Payne 1 multiplayer character.
That just looks like the MP1 model with MP1 textures.
thats because it is
Is it only different skins of Max or can you play other characters?
Only skins of Max, ,maybe classic characters aswell, but I don't know. However, you CAN run around rainy jungles in boxers and tank top. @simka: Not decent, but here it is. Pardon quality, I don't have appropriate devices. EDIT: Well, I'm late, but in-game it doesn't look like it's from MP1, he has limited facial animations and clothes look like older Max's classic outfit.
