Unfortunately no, you pretty much just fall on top of him, it also instantly ends your bullet-time.

depends how you hit him, I landed on a guy's face with max's crotch coming out of a bullet dodge down some stairs, the whole way the guy's head washed pushed to the ground realistically while I was shooting some other guy's face still in bullet time

I'm getting an upgrade for my graphics card. GTX 250 probably won't serve me as well as the latest cards, so I'm thinking about the 570?

If the console versions get checkpoints instead of quicksaving, is it safe to say that the PC version will use checkpoints too?
I tend to forget to quicksave when I'm focused on a game and it can get quite annoying.
I have the PC version pre-ordered... may just buy the console version after work tomorrow.

Just wait it out man, I'm sure you won't regret it. I doubt the game will be nearly as fun on PC if you have already played it plenty on console.

Aw fuck man, this game is great. I finished story last night and can't wait to replay on a harder difficulty.
This game was so refreshing. It was actually challenging. And not like most games where it's just bullshit getting killed over and over and over, it's more like "Wow, I'm running completely low on ammo and health, so how am I going to unfuck myself?"
MP is brilliant too. This so far is my GOTY.

Knowing Rockstar, it'd probably be normal to see FAPS on their front page.
The sound design in this game is brilliant. The thumping music blended with the hail of gun fire is a heavenly orchestral piece from the action movie gods.

570 is the card I have and it's really good, I'd go for it. Should run MP3 fine I think.
Cant wait for the PC release now knowing my 580 is gonna ace this game on high, 60FPS

It's tough getting used to a controller after playing with a mouse & keyboard for quite some time...

The [sp]airport[/sp] level made me go fucking ballistic at the end with the standoff against [sp]Becker[/sp]. I know Max Payne is supposed to be hard, but GODDAMN
also, beat the game. Was pretty good, gonna do another playthrough for all the golden guns and clues.
