Is there any advantage to installed the discs to your 360 hard drive?
Is there any advantage to installed the discs to your 360 hard drive?
Shorter load times, not a huge effect on the cutscene loading screens, but useful if you want to start arcade mode really quickly.
Is it just me or is the FMP G3S the loudest thing on the fucking planet? No matter where someone fires it from it sounds like a bomb going off next to my guy's head. If mulitple people are using it I can't hear a thing for 90% of the game.
I would just like to say that I have more than 1/4 of the Facepunch crew's total kills, just hit 1000. Go us!
is there one for ps3? if there's any way and it's allowed i'd like to get some power leveling in. i'd be willing to return the favor.
Anybody want to play Xbox 360 MP soon? It'd be good if you were in the crew too, so we could get extra XP and maybe get into a feud Also what happens if I'm in FP and an enemy crew of FP?
The more I play this game the more I can't wait for GTA V
The more I play this game the more I can't wait for GTA V
They probably won't be too much alike, aside from graphics.
I invited one of my friends to the facepunch crew, he's currently the 3rd top in our crew (on psn)
I'm on 360, so if anyone wants to do multiplayer I'll be up for it. I'm Rag3XI on Social Club (Apparently 'Rage' is a banned word) and my gamertag is linked on here.
Now I'm getting killed all the time in rookie playlists too. Wow, I'm really bad. Melee and moving when aiming. The two things I hate about multiplayer - potentially ruining it for me [editline]22nd May 2012[/editline] Oh wow, nobody's playing free aim on X360. It's empty.

I've been doing pretty well in the few games I've played, I'll try playing on soft aim for the first time now I bet I'll be terrible.
uh without soft lock the game would kind of suck shit. at least in multiplayer. there's so much god damn turning involved just because it's third person doesn't mean you don't need the dexterity of a mouse and keyboard to play it to its fullest. and does anyone else seem to be getting shot in the ass/groin area the most out of any other areas? i'm serious, most of the time when it shows where the shots landed on me there's this giant collection of holes around that area.

Put it like this - I've practically lost every game I've played in free aim playlists, if my team happened to win, at least my KDR was 0.0002 or something. Played 4 or 5 soft lock DM matches just now and won them all. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having fun - I have to say, the aiming and moving in MP is fairly frustrating. [editline]22nd May 2012[/editline] And I JUST noticed there are unlockable cheats in SP! Oh god, I must get that infinite bullet time one. [editline]22nd May 2012[/editline] Oh no, I can't play on Rookie playlists anymore :v:
Yeah it sucks so much, everybody wants soft lock crap
I mostly play in soft lock since its a bitch to aim accurately in this game
I don't know about that. I find it very easy getting headshots and generally hitting my targets.
I was going to say that Gang Wars is super fun, but then came the mode where the enemy has to claim 5 checkpoints, and they spawned literally next to the first three. What is this fucking bullshit. Okay, it's fun. But the spawns are such bullshit.
I've always played Free Aim. The trick is to get your crosshair as close to your enemy as you can with your aiming stick while moving, and then use the movement stick to finely tune where you're aiming
All these problems with aiming and controls amuse me because I shan't be having any of them when I get the game...
I have a feeling we might, since bigger guns take a while to aim with, It'll be a bit of a pain with the mouse. For me anyway, I hate it when that happens.
All these problems with aiming and controls amuse me because I shan't be having any of them when I get the game...
Aiming.. Maybe not. Overall clunkiness, you will. It's the character getting stuck everywhere and such that's frustrating. I wish there was an easy way to trade games in Finland, so I could get Dragons Dogma for this one. MP3 is good but, as always with R* games, I got a bit too hyped about it. With soft-lock the MP is great and the single player is still, even with the ridiculous amounts of cut-scenes, great fun. Still, I probably end up putting ~10 hours to multiplayer and finishing one or two playthroughs of SP. The MP is easily the most fun since Halo Reach.
Just finished the story. Wow... That was epic. [sp]The bit in the airport when the music starts playing[/sp]
I just found the easter egg where Max successfully plays the Max Payne theme on the piano. Awesome.
Free Aim is the only real way! Well... I have had no problems with it so far. I mean you ever played RDR Free Aim? Now that were shit! This is functioning well compared to that!
Just played my first game with soft lock. Holy shit it makes killing people so easy I didn't realise it would lock that much. I don't like it, it feels like I'm not aiming it's boring.

I'm honestly having more fun with soft-lock and afaik, games are about fun.. So I'll stick with this.

Has anyone played the boat level(the flashback), at some points the doors slide down, I dived to kill two enemies as the door started to slide down making max faceplant into pretty much a wall, I about wet myself.
Free Aim [ON] OFF (just a suggestion and if you do turn it on . up the sensitivity to were your comfortable with it )
I've been playing with free aim for about 10 hours...
I sent a request to join the Facepunch Crew.
