Just completed the final mission. The game was nowhere near as difficult as I thought. Most of my deaths came from leaping into a wall and getting shot in the face standing up. It was challenging though, there isn't room for mistakes. The controls work on PS3, and free-aim is easy, for me at least. While the plot is at points very much Max Payne with all the vengeance and stuff, Max feels almost too edgy. A joke or two would have made the game a bit more positive. Max jokes around, but the jokes come off as rather cynical, since we know what kind of person he is. He means the kind of stuff we see in MP1 and 2, where the jokes come from the rest of the world. The enemy banter, the funny TV shows, the silly people you find, etc.

Is the PC version a good port, is it optimized? I was going to buy it today but I don't have any money. Is the multiplayer good?

Rockstar Games has pushed the release date on Max Payne 3 (on PC) to June 1st for EVERYONE, yes this includes North America. Or maybe the same people that couldn't work out the European logistical issues also recommended that the US date and Euro date be the same so late in the game. I'm frustrated with how shit a move this is, and I can only thing of this whole this as a fucked up disorganized mess. It's sort of insulting too, like what kind of brown nosing asshole came up with that idea? It sort of undermines the whole concept of a global release if you aren't even going to release the game for consoles and PCs at the same time. And now, after they failed to make it happen for consoles they out of the blue decide to do it for PCs? Man, FUCK that and FUCK Rockstar. And that's the end of my rant. I'm just sick of this shit. We wait 2 weeks after the Console release only to wait [I]another[/I] 3 days on top of that for a probable clusterfuck at launch. Man I fucking hope they start preloads by midweek then, or I probably won't get to play untill the Monday after if I'm lucky.
