im kinda saddened by the lack of the p90 or one of those advanced new weapons like the vector. pretty much every gun in the game is one of those old tired and true guns. [editline]23rd May 2012[/editline] they should have weapon pack DLC

Also, I don't blame Rockstar for the decision I made a few weeks ago. I'm unhappy with how badly they're explaining it. I know games get delayed due to a number of reasons, and I'm pretty flexible as to their reasons. I'm upset because the reason Rockstar is gives sound sketchy and nonsensical. But whatever, I think I've said as much as can be said, and probably more on where I stand on this issue. To be honest, i dont really know what games (apart from Modern Warfare 2) have the Vector. P90... ehh... Fair enough, but i like that gun and i wouldnt mind getting my hands on that in Max Payne 3. Am i the only person who gets slightly irritated with Golden Guns?

so? also the kriss vector has only really been in modern warfare, not much else. plus the mp5, ak47, colt 1911, m9, the list goes on and fucking on have all been in every game ever. having a p90 would be fuck awesome because it's a fuck awesome gun. Stuff like P90s and Vectors would not fit the setting at all. Most of the time you're fighting ragtag militia dudes and only sometimes paramilitary dudes and even then, they're not exactly the high budget kind. Hell, there isn't even an M9 in, only the brazilian knock-off.

it's basically gang war among a giant variety of settings. if anything you could probably expect to see an extremely wide range of different guns in this setting, no matter how high tech they are.

I thought golden guns is something you unlock by finding stuff in singleplayer?

There are design references in ME 2, in 2 different guns in ME 3, Brink, and the list goes on. I don't know as far as guns go I don't really like the vector aesthetically either, its got this really square sterile design and in the games I've played with it anyways it's firing sound is a consistent "BSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHTTTTT" which is sort of boring. The only thing I personally like about it is it's fast rate of fire, but I think that could be done a little more inventively than the vector. I personally would be in favor of more exotic weapons like some sort of 3 shot burst weapons, or imported black market Chinese or South African weapons like the that shotgun that's in CS: GO.

Doesn't really say anything about how much you've used them. And really, they do look pretty fucking stupid.

So, what's with the crazy violent bullet entrance wounds, as seen in trailers? When this game gets out on PC, I must try to hit an enemy in the face with a shotgun.. from point blank. It's gon' be good.

Does Max in MP3 still destroy the Striker shotguns when he reloads them? They were the real victims in the Max Payne games, highest bodycount of Strikers I've ever seen.

In the UK, the only time games get shipped in to practically any UK store, is on a friday, and I don't think its easy to change that.
