Multiplayer on the 360 is frustrating, it feels like barely anyone is playing and the soft lock is the most populated rather than attempting to show an ounce of skill.

To be honest, I found playing with soft lock a lot more fun than free aim. Not nearly as frustrating. I usually play FPS games with precise and super-fast aiming though, so that probably explains it.
Still on the edge of whether to buy the game or not. Rockstar has pulled the PC ports so crappily before I'm not sure I can trust them with my money until I see reviews. LA Noire was the last straw, buggy and unoptimized.
The recommended specs for max payne 3 are quite high as well

You don't need to buy it at launch. Wait for people opinions about Rockstar's job at porting.
I'm so glad I don't have to deal with any of that bullshit on PC. My aiming skills are easily transferable from one game to the next and have been built up by 12 years of online shooters.
Not that i'm saying PC IS DOMINATE, just that I can't stand aiming on consoles, never have. I always feel like "I could have hit that guy if I was on PC"
Yeah yeah, I do agree with you. I only play pure shooters on consoles if they are exclusives, unavailable on PC. Then again, I don't play that much shooters. If the newer Halo games were to be released for PC, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

They're not that high, there are games that have higher specs.
They're not that high, there are games that have higher specs.
They are high for a multiplatform game. a 5870 and an i7 quad core is pretty damn powerful and you can play the witcher 2 or battlefield 3 really well with those specs. Max Payne 3 looks good graphically but it's no witcher 2 or bf3.
However, most of the time system requirements are a bad indiciation and we will have to wait untill launch to see for ourselves. I will wait with buying untill I am sure I can play the game well with my specs.
I'm playing with the multiplayer avatar preview on the Max Payne 3 site, and then this guy popped up...

"Intel i7 Quad Core 2.8Ghz"
The difference between a i5 and a i7?

Ouch, that AK texture.
Why are they showing new console screens?
There hasn't been a single PC multiplayer screen.

There's more than just killing for being skilled at the game
Love to make this funny dialog in MP2 more funnier.
-How fucked up is that?
-That's pretty fucked up.
*me throwing grenade in their cell*
-You can say that again.
*BOOM*
I'm not even going to bother with New York Minute Hardcore.
You have to complete the game from start to finish in one single run on time and without dying, on Hardcore.
Just found out that NYM Hardcore is actually on Normal difficulty and you have last stand.
But you still have to beat it in time and without dying in one session.

Vinnie was brilliant in Max Payne 1. Looks so badass with those glasses...
...and then he starts talking.
I should try to see if my Gamestop broke the street date for the PC version.

They probably have release date check on the game so you couldn't play till Friday anyway.
Whoo! Soon I get access to my Max Payne 3 pre-order!
