I don't know about others, but I've been saying that it sucks since the last E3 (when they showed the gameplay video).
It went from a psychological-horror game with little fighting and more thinking to a 3rd person shooter with horror elements.

Only reason why games get console exclusives is because it's a bigger money pile.
Consoles give developers the most money and the PC version is either ignored or ported to make a quick buck.

I never understood this 'upgrade every six months' argument. If you want to play most of the games today all you need to do is upgrade your specs to that of a 360 or PS3, at minimum. You wouldn't have to upgrade until those consoles died if all you wanted to do was play console ports.

I'm still running on a 9600GT I got a year and a half ago. Still runs games good on mostly high settings. Sure if I wanted to max out games like GTAIV/ArmA2 and run at full resolution at 40-50+FPS I'd upgrade but I honestly don't care enough for that. I play most of my games windowed anyways so I can do stuff like MSN/etc while playing.
