Excuse me, but what!?

Speak for yourself. I guided one rebel, who I named Kurt... When he did die, I had a funeral, resting his shotgun on his chest.
Just thought it was a little interesting to name the guy with the shotgun 'kurt'
And more, for example, the PS2 version has the Complete Hazard Course. Like other times i said it, we need a PS2 conversion mod.
Shit my sides
Just thought it was a little interesting to name the guy with the shotgun 'kurt'
Precisely. [sp]no idea why i defended him because i absolutely hate cobain[/sp]
Maybe you aren't even Gordon Freeman in HL2 and are just a guy who looked a lot like him. Everyone thought you were him so they sent you to fight.
The wrong man in the wrong place?
Am i late?
Precisely. [sp]no idea why i defended him because i absolutely hate cobain[/sp]
Facepunch needs a 'mean' rating.
Am i late?
What is the significance of this? [editline]22nd December 2012[/editline] Complete just means all current existing content, it does not necessarily imply that the half life series has ended.
I think Black Mesa East was going to get destroyed either way
Breen said they knew about it but only attacked because Gordon was there. (During that rant at Nova Prospekt iirc)
the canals were already defunct because they had the teleports and they knew the Combine were onto them.
Only as of about 20 minutes beforehand. You went straight from successfully fucking up the teleporter with the headcrab to being chased through the sewers getting everyone murdered by the combine. If you listen to the chatter on the portable radios or talk to the few survivors you abandon at their trashed posts, everyone else was of the opinion that everything was hunky dory right up until the manhacks crashed through the door (or CPs abseiled through the vents or headcrab canisters dropped through the ceiling or explosive barrels rolled off the bridge etc.)
Is there any way to fix the fullbright maps glitch in HL2? I feel like that the glitch isn't there for most people and that's why valve hasn't made a fix for it.
What relationship with the resistance?
Alyx, Eli, Kleiner, Barney, etc.
Has there ever been a fix for Breen in Red Letter Day?
Has there ever been a fix for Breen in Red Letter Day?
Not an official fix
Remember that time 5+ years ago when episode two was released, yeah that was fun...
Here is a semi-interesting statistic: Unless Episode 3 is released before August 30th 2016, it will have taken longer to develop one game than the entire Half-Life series up to Episode 2. It may be 4 years in the future, but I can honestly see it taking that long.

Or the next HL gets shown on the E3 2013, since Valve has been developing the new engine all the previous time.
Or the next HL gets shown on the E3 2013, since Valve has been developing the new engine all the previous time.
I just got déjà vu from your post. I wonder why.
I just got déjà vu from your post. I wonder why.
Because many other thought it would happen on the previous E3s. But to believe why it should be shown on the E3 next year has never been so reliable. It's the year of the new consoles. Valve has stated they are working on a new engine. Nothing heard of HL for such a long time. I will hold my expectations down, but also keep a little bit hope. I've learned from the mistakes, and if it won't be shown I will just don't care.
Nothing heard of HL for such a long time.
This one is complete bullshit though, since it has been the primary reason "why Valve MUST show something next E3, no doubt about it!" for the past 3 years now.

Every year we get the same disappointment when nothing is shown. So I'd rather not hope and see it happen, then hope and get disappointed again.
Let's talk about something a little less depressing, shall we? My interpretation of Gordon has a bias towards Freeman's Mind, for better or worse. What must that say about his "friends" in Half-Life 2? Were they simply the people most willing to wrestle with his bullshit? I could see that being the case for Barney and Eli. I'd love to see Alyx and Dr. Kleiner's favorite procedures for taming this bright orange menace.
Dr K guided Dr F through MIT and into BM. It's likely that The Fremonster gives him special treatment. As for Alyx, he's been conveniently there as a pillar of quiet strength at most of her recent moments of emotional instability and not incidentally saved her life a few times. I'm sure she can forgive a few of his more sociopathic tendencies.
Randomly made a mashup, surprised how well it lines up... http://youtubedoubler.com/?video1=BjnxqPoXyMw&start1=921&video2=kcOxGXb0YIs&start2=0&authorName=Karmal
