Isn't this also maybe older combine apc?

That comes from Counter-Strike Source, I believe it's in the map cs_militia guarding the exit out of the road
Impressive. I imagined something similar after seeing the blueprints in 2D, but never like that.
Also, there is a photo of HL2 in the GitHub page of the tool (OpenSource): https://github.com/w23/OpenSource

Is a huge image, that is why i don´t show it.

No, CS always have been using stuff from the HL games, since the mod.

I suddenly have the urge to do this as a real ingame map, AND fix all the overlapping areas so they don't.
In a perfect world, I would love to see the two of them be bros.
I'm now imagining Gordon,Adrian and Barney as total bros now.

Nah, it's in HL2, but just once. There's one sitting in a tunnel / underpass type road in Anticitizen One. It is behind 2 Combine Machineguns manned by a Civil Protection team at the end of the road, sitting atop a crushed blue car, with the collapsed tunnel roof resting ontop of it.

Fun Fact: The APC is very strongly based off the Cadillac Gage Commando (M706 is the military designation), which despite looking "Russian", was actually designed in 1962 America for the US Army, and thus may be out of place in Eastern Europe (possibly mistaken for a soviet vehicle by the devs due to it's similarities with soviet designs).

How long was the compile time? :v: and is this source or goldsrc?
Oh god, Nihilanth is one creepy ass mother fucker, he also looks like he needs to die.
Gluon Gun time.
For some reason, I could see the Borealis containing time travel technology, and Gordon utilizes it to go back in time and prevent the resonance cascade from happening. Sounds silly and I doubt it would work with the lore, but whatever. Felt like sharing.

Since the g-man caused it in the first place...
well with Gordon knowing what he now knows, surely he could inform Eli or stop the test.
What was that you guy's said about the Mac update breaking some of HL2? I'd like to fix that before playing it.
I think at some point that Gordon will have to fight G-Man in some sense.
Maybe through the "3rd power" (The Vorts as seen after the initial citadel explosion in ep1) he could attack him in a sort of time-frozen world.

Maybe the TARDIS is inside of the Borealis.
OOOooo~~~

I remember Floater_TWO spending a month battling dumb overwiki editors to try and get them to change it from the wrong APC to the Cadillac Gage.

Someone turned off the damping fields that covered Black Mesa which meant that when the resonant frequency of the crystal sample was reached by the anti-mass spectrometer instead of simply analysing it it caused the resonance cascade and tore open a dimensional rift.
It was sabotage.
Freeman, Keller, Cross, Green, Rosenberg and others all spent time trying to fix the damage.
Hell Dr. Rosenberg told them not to run the test citing safety concerns in the first place but was overruled by Dr. Keller.

Freeman and the Vorts are bound to the same purpose. Go listen to the cave vort and you'll learn how they're connected by an unknown entity.
Tried to get the mod that fixes the Mac Update bugs, but the thread has been deleted I guess, anyone know where else I can get it.

It does remove some bugs, but also add others.
Like?
I don't know, but it's not officially released for a reason.
They plan to release a stable version this year.
Check the bug reports then you decide if you will feel more confortable playing this mod or the vanilla game.

I don't really care about graphics so i never installed the mod, but some stuff that changed after the mac update really bugs me.
Filip Victor's patch would be a good suggestion if it weren't for the fact that his mod is now verging on "stupid superfluous Fakefactory-esque crap" quality. This is legitimately a "feature" included in the patch:

At this point, I'm pretty sure Filip doesn't give a shit about Half-Life 2 and is simply trying to milk money from his baffling and totally inexplicable Origin PC/EVGA/NVidia/Softpedia/Secure Online Desktop sponsorship.
Yeah, that sky looks very stupid. Next update will probably include lens flare.

Just checked the SPUF topic, that was an optional thing he threw in one of the patches for the last version.
And looking what his "sponsored" version will have, it just seems like a bunch of small things regarding lighting effects. Nothing like the absurd textures & designer character models. Add in that I'm still fond of all of HL2's low-res style, and Filip's update still seems fine by my standards.
Or I could just be missing some obvious things that shows this mod is slowly going down the drain.
Or I could just be missing some obvious things that shows this mod is slowly going down the drain.
From Filip's Steam screenshots:

Although he claims this "will not be included in the final version," I believe it's fair to say Filip has completely lost sight this project's original and humble goal: a bug fix for Valve's crappy Half-Life 2 Mac update. I don't care about Origin PC or Softpedia, I just want Breen to stand up in his office when I teleport my ass in there. Is that so much to ask?
I would totally download it if it was just a fix for that update.

So the whole thing about being inspirated on a BTR is a lie?
It does remove some bugs, but also add others.
I´m not sure if it was the same mod, but, back in time when HL2 didn´t had achievements, it worked fine (in fact, later when it was updated the game, Steam recognized the achievements that i got on the mod, that was a surprise).
That mod that consisted of the original GCF files from 2004 has been deleted from SkyDrive, and the thread has been removed from Steam Forums; did anyone download it and could they re-upload it somewhere?
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
