What do the G-Man's employers pay him in?
Walnuts and olives.
I would like it if the last boss of the series (or at least the current arc) would be the G-Man somehow, or his employers. Even if it was in some abstract way (ignoring him and going against his wishes somehow, to a large extent).
He doesn't mean in the sense he's red and has a pointy stick if you think about him mainly in the episodes he seemed very devil like too me
Nah, to me the Gman seems very neutral. He's not evil, nor is he good. He just is. He helps Gordon out in order to achieve his own goals. He has Eli killed as to preserve his own interests. He's not the devil, nor is he a saint. He just is.
I hope we don't get any bullshit revelations with the Gman. By that I mean hopefully we don't get any "this is my true form" nonsense, or "he was Gordon all along!!!", or exposition that explains exactly how he came to be. Valve is careful, so I want them to take the mysterious route. Hell we don't even know what he calls himself; Our Mutual Fiend is the closest thing to an identity he gets inside the game. It's kind of like J.J. Abrams and Cloverfield. The hype leading up to the movie was built on the monster we never see. All promotional material focused on the destruction it caused. The film itself was pretty tense, until you see the thing's head and body. While looking back at the design outside of the theater, it's actually pretty well designed and a little freaky. During the movie, it's finally given a clear focus, and you just kind of...sigh. I hope Gman doesn't get the Abrams treatment (J.J. pulled that same move in Super 8, albeit with more tact and a better effect). I don't want to know everything about him. His mystery gives him power.
wouldn't it be great if he just turned out to be a totally ordinary person who manipulates people by pretending to be all mysterious and having hidden agendas
No explanation to certain things give it a great magic feeling.
No explanation is certainly better than bad explanations. I still wish I skipped the last season of Lost.

I find it weird that HECU grunts with full body armor covering every inch of their body are hysterically weaker than the ninja's in the skintight gimp suits

I reckon that if i were supreme combine overlord, i'd probably take two of every animal from every place my empire conquers. I would have the greatest zoo ever and would make all of the combine children very happy.

I'm so used to waiting, I can't actually imagine what it would feel like when something gets released for ep 3.

why would overriding custom content be enabled in the first place? oh well, I guess it adds an easy way to toggle mods.
it makes no sense because all the people who actually want hd models have them installed already
it makes no sense because all the people who actually want hd models have them installed already
They overhauled how it loaded content, so that wouldn't matter.
glad they'll fix it for HL1 itself but there's still all the singleplayer mods
