Maybe, but the face on that toy looks WAY nicer than her face in-game. In the game... well... vomit.
I'm so used to waiting, I can't actually imagine what it would feel like when something gets released for ep 3.
It better come with a realistic and wearable HEV suit, I'll tell you what.

You hardly ever see her face in-game, why would they spend much time on it?
it makes no sense because all the people who actually want hd models have them installed already
all the people who wanted hd content have already got better versions.

tbh i think chell looks alright in both portals. she's not a hollywood starlet but she isn't abnormally unusual looking either, she looks like a normal person. although i prefer her more hispanic portal 1 look purely because it reminds me of Vasquez from aliens
It's pretty obvious something happened with Gordon (20 years don't go by without you not aging a day), and Eli knows about the existence of the G-man, so it's not crazy he could put two and two together.
Well it's pretty obvious Eli knows of G-man's existance, as did Dr Breen and Vortigaunts. But I don't think Eli knew of Gordon being in stasis "Let me get a look at you man, my God you haven't changed one iota, how do you do it?"
Which makes the Vance's even creepier than the G-man, considering he wants his pupil to bang his daughter. And for all he knows Gordon is 47 years old.
And Alyx wants it too. :quagmire:
WHERE IS RICOCHET 2
WHERE IS RICOCHET 2
Probably in a couple of years when this hardware and collaboration with JJ Abrams stuff dies down.
"Ricochet 2" looks like its going to be a while, so I wouldn't expect any sort of game reveal at this E3. As Gabe said in the Nerdist podcast: [B]"It does create sort of a peculiar pathway to some of are things so..
We go do Richochet and everybody's like Where's the sequel? And we're like We can't figure out how to make it better its kinda perfect the way it is so how could we possibly ever do Richochet 2?"

Gordon isn't 47.
He was 27 in Half-Life, but was put into stasis, far from Earth, thought, and time itself for 20 years by Gman, sort of like suspended animation, it's proof he didn't physically age when Eli says, "...you haven't changed one iota..."
Therefore, we can conclude, time has passed yet Gordon hasn't aged.
He may theoretically be 47 as far as time aging goes, but physically and mentally, he's still 27.
In my opinion, his age in Half-Life 2 is 27.
And besides, he's earned his place to be alongside Alyx, Eli highly approves of Gordon and feels they'd be perfect together. If that creeps you out, then I've lost all hope for you.

Um
You clearly did not read my post, I said for all they knew... Gordon could be 47 years old in HL2. They didn't know he was in stasis.
I'm not creeped out by Eli's praise for Gordon, not at all. But the fact that he's Gordon's mentor, a colleague, a father like figure and yet he's pushing Alyx to have babies with Gordon and he doesn't even know he's 27. It's a little weird.

Gordon is only silent from a players perspective to build immersion, they occasionally add humour to the game to make fun of the fact the player never hears him speak. You also have to remember the timescale of the game is upped considerably, what is taking us a few hours takes Gordon several days/weeks. I'm pretty sure he would would have spoken to rebels, made battle plans, slept and eaten and so on.

Well think about it this way:
Eli knew about the G-Man and that Gordon is involved with him
Eli noticed Gordon didn't seem to have aged at all
Put two and two together; Eli probably suspects Gordon not only seemed to not have aged, but didn't either

The player experiences everything Gordon experiences because they're one and the same. There are no hidden moments when Gordon is making small talk with Alyx, giving orders to Rebels or even eating. For Gordon, the events of all the games are one unbroken instance. That's probably why he passes out at the end of Episode Two. The guy is exhausted.

Uh, yes there is. Half-Life takes place over three days, HL2 as well so that's six days, then there is probably an additional day during Episode One and Two.
Which means that the last time Gordon had something to drink was in the early stages of the Black Mesa incident, the last time he slept, ate and took a dump was before he even got into the tram that morning. And he hasn't spoken to anyone since, either.
In any case, I'm pretty sure we have it from Marc Laidlaw as well that they obviously didn't include any of that because it wouldn't fit the game experience, but that it was part of story.
I am pretty sure gordon does speak, but they made it look like he doesn't to make the player think what he would say

Suppression device. No children have been born for the last 10-20 years, and given the 7-hour war + combine oppression, it's safe to say Eli can't be that picky

"Man of a few words, aren't you?"
If you imagine Gordon as a character in a story doing the exact things he does in the games he becomes really amusing. I mean I'm sure we've all been in a situation at least once where we've spoken to someone and they deliberately didn't reply and just looked at you instead.
That's what Gordon keeps doing.
He must have some really descriptive facial expressions.
The thing that really pissed me off in all the half life 2 games is the fact that no one ever mentions his hev suit, Like, ever. I mean, even the guy in the sewers says to you 'be glad you aren't the one they are looking for' even though you are the most suited up guy in the city more or less.
The only time they mention it is when you're dead, and a guy would say 'dibs on the suit' other than that it's like you aren't wearing it at all.
I mean, you'd expect them to be surprised to see a guy in power armor that isn't the combine wouldn't you?
cuz theyre so clueless onto who freeman is

Thinking like this makes speedruns hilarious.
I imagine Gordon bouncing through the chaos as fast as possible, ignoring everything in his path and trying to pretend it's not happening.

Few words, not no words

Yeah, this is really jarring to me. A few rebels you meet don't seem to realize you're Freeman, and must just think you're a guy running around in a bright orange suit for no reason. In fact, aside from main characters, I think only one rebel mentions your suit in the whole game (aside from deaths)
How do you even get in/out of a HEV suit anyway.

Probably comes in pieces which you put on separately like full body armor from the medieval era.
I read a fanfiction which was basically a very good, solid adaptation of the Half Life series, including Blue Shift and Opposing Force. It was called The Black Mesa Incident, and it has a few sequels for the HL2 saga
It said that Gordon stripped down to his boxers and jumped into it
One of the oddest headcanons of Half Life yet
Does anyone know when the next Half-Life update will be?
Probably comes in pieces which you put on separately like full body armor from the medieval era.
as unlikely as it seems i like to think that the chestpeice is put on seperately, and then it automatically unfolds itself over the wearer like iron man 2. i love armor that does that.

I thought that you just walk into it and it immediately appears on you with all functions activated.
