I think this episode was one of the reasons why the stream version of P4A was delayed a week. I think TAN got all the episodes like a day or so early considering it was fixed in the TV version.
I've been watching the p4 anime on hulu and it's pretty cool so far
I haven't beat p4 yet but i wanted to see if it was quality or not. It's actually really good. I might get the english dub dvd when it comes out

Pretty sure they are using the P4U voices except naoto, which has a new one I think.

It has the same Voice Actors as Arena, Golden will have the same voice actors as well.
Chie and Teddie were recast, and are not the original actors from the PS2 game.

I think Naoto's voice actress did change for the anime as well. Something to do with the location the anime is recorded versus where the recording for the game takes place.

I'm looking forward to a scene with Yu talking to Adachi. Playing P4U was a bit odd with Yu talking and sounding like Adachi in the first place.

when i played p4 i heard beforehand that there was a gay dude character, and japan being japan i assumed naoto was it

Hmm, I bought a copy of the game but the disk doesn't work, so I'll need to play it with pcsx2 or something.
Will this POS be able to cope? I have no experience with emulators except VisualBoy.

You might have a hard time with pcsx2. Might be fine if you use native internal resolution, but its not going to look very pretty if you're going to play full screen.
I doubt the CPU will be able to handle it, but it's not like it's impossible. Speed hacks and such should be the last resort, try changing everything before touching them.
Pcsx2 is one of the more complicated emulators around though, so be prepared to spend an hour or two with it.
I personally never got the Persona games to work properly. They ran like a charm, but had tons of graphical artifacts. Meshes going crazy and such.
Maybe I'll try playing P3 again later this week with the new laptop I got.
The persona games are like the only games that I can run properly, everything else gives me sound issues even if it runs fine otherwise. :v:
I can run p3 and p4 flawlessly. However my framerate always drops when there is more than 1 white enemy on the screen
If you have a quad-core, check if MTVU is enabled.

If its not checked pcsx2 only uses 2 cores, enabling It doubles your fps in most games.

Which version of pcsx2 is that? I've got 0.9.8 and I'm not seeing that option....

Don't use 0.9.8. Quite outdated. At least either download 1.0 or one of the latest SVN builds.

I'm playing Persona 3 for the first time and I didn't realize you had to join a culture club by a certain date or they would close. Is it a big deal if I didn't join a club or should I just keep going and forget about it?
