I am using 1.1.0, I try to keep kinda up to date through the SVN page. When you download a new build, don't overwrite your old build, create a new folder for it. Only thing you should copy over is memcards, and save states don't work between different builds.

if you're really far into the game i wouldn't bother
you can replay through the game and max out social links you missed or couldnt max out for whatever reason

Are you talking about save states? If thats it, just reinstall .98 and get to a savepoint for your memory cards.

Late response, but you have a processor equal to mine and i was able to play it with some slowdowns in towns and large battles.
Just make sure you turn speedhacks and frame limiter on, it'll make the FMV cutscenes have skippy audio but it's better than lag.

I think you might not be able to run it, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a shot.
I remember in the video settings i changed the hardware dx9 and speedhacks were set to 1 or 3 i forgot.

If so, is Nocturne worth picking up if i enjoyed Persona 3 and 4?, i heard it's hell of alot harder than persona and alot darker too.
Heh, this is pretty weird but even with my shitty specs, and not changing ANY settings it's running at a constant 50FPS. I guess it really is random who it works for and doesn't work for.

Nocturne is my favourite game in the main SMT series so yeah go play it.

I would go ahead and play it, just be prepared to have your ass kicked a few times by some bosses.
Fuck that Matador motherfucker, man... And while we are at it, fuck Dante too.
I managed to beat Matador on my first try without even being prepared for him.
And in the first Dante fight I somehow managed to pull some insane damage on him so I killed him in a few turns.

I think the Digital Devil Sagas are pretty good too. Aged okay unlike Persona1/2 IMO.

Well if you really like P3, get P4. At least you know what to expect.
Nocturne is very different from the Persona games.

i beat persona 3 last night and there were so many feels i could hardly contain them all
now all i need to do is finish the answer; i already like the work they put into the full motion cutscenes and such

It was released on the 18th. You could probably find it online for sure.
Definitely looking forward to playing P4G in English. Playing the Japanese version was fun, and gave me loads of playtime (~75 hours on first playthrough), but I still would like to have it all 100% readable.
Went out yesterday and bought a Vita, LBP, MGS HD Collection and a $50 PSN card.

Tomorrow I might put down a pre-order for P4G. Can't get a solid answer on the Solid Gold edition though. People keep saying it's sold out, but the clerks I've talked to can't recall ever seeing it available for pre-order.

IMO,P4 animu is not that great with the english cast.
It just feels off.

Solid Gold Premium has been sold out for ever now. Not sure which stores you went to but only Gamestop and Amazon had copies up for grabs.
