If you didn't do the true ending then you haven't completed shit.
Also you didn't get to hear the awesome final boss music.
It's good enough for me >:(
I'll probably do the true ending later when I have time
How do i start the Star social link in Persona 3?, People have said that he's by the used book store after school but i don't see him there.
And yes, this is after the competition.
Currently slowly wading through Persona 4. Just got to [sp]Heaven.[/sp] Shit's getting real.
Best dungeon in the game purely because of the music.
Also the point where I gave up on understanding what shadows were and why the TV was all weird and shit.

He should be sitting on the bench in front of the book store
-snip-
Watching the dubbed P4 anime now.
Pretty good thus far. JYB does a solid job as Narukami, but Adachi sounds a couple octaves too high due to the need to differentiate. Also, Chie sounds like a Minnesotan at times.
Solid Gold Premium has been sold out for ever now. Not sure which stores you went to but only Gamestop and Amazon had copies up for grabs.
Went to two Gamestops. At both neither could ever recall it being in the system.

Not sure. Most like Gamestop online and Amazon got a majority of the units. I guess it's possible your store didn't get any copies.
Picked up a new copy of P4 today from Microplay. The day after I placed a pre-order for P4G.

Still, good to have I suppose. No other stores in this city seemed to have it.
Almost at the end of Persona 3 and [sp]annoyed that if you aren't prepared to fight the Hanged Man it's super tedious. Probably should have trained in Tartarus more instead of faffing around with the damn social links.[/sp]

[sp]I fucking hated those goddamn statue things[/sp]

Also not really persona related, but I started branching out to other SMT games. Currently my favourite is devil summoner

it even has darth vader
Man the next time I play a game from the SMT series,I'm picking easy.
Turn Based RPGs games always make me fall asleep.
Speaking of SMT games,I really want to branch out from the Persona series
Any recommendations for PS2 SMT games?
Alright, i'm up to the (MAJOR PERSONA 4 SPOILER)[sp]Adachi dungeon[/sp] and it's the most interesting one so far. Just got Loki and he's hilariously powerful, especially with null fire and null physical.
[editline]29th September 2012[/editline]
Fuck, i only have [sp]20 days to beat him, and so far this is taking a lot of time... this might be a little tight on time.[/sp]
Small tip: [sp]make sure you have a soma on hand[/sp]
[editline]29th September 2012[/editline]
Also what level are you?
71. I grinded a shitton before [sp]Nametame[/sp] so i'm not having too hard a time in this dungeon.
[editline]29th September 2012[/editline]
Also, I thought you didn't get the True ending, elitehakor...
[sp]I got the normal ending, where you find adachi but not the "real" final boss[/sp]
Wait, there's [sp]more to it than Adachi? I thought pushing nametame into the TV was the "normal" ending, and finding Adachi was the "True" ending.
I guess i'll have to keep playing to find out the TRUTH[/sp]
[sp]Well Adachi is the killer, but there are still unanswered questions.
I'll leave it at that[/sp]
Also, Elitehakor, you said I'd need [sp]bead chains for the final boss, but 3/4 of my party members can use mediarahan, and 2/4 of them can use samarecarm :v:[/sp]
You won't need it, but it'll be a helluva lot of help.
You'll see.

This is one of the things I quite liked about P4.
I was disppointed when [sp]Adachi didn't have his own boss music. "The final boss of persona games always have unique music" I thought.
AND THEN AMENO-SAGIRI HAPPENED[/sp]
shit's getting intense.
[editline]29th September 2012[/editline]
[sp]OH GOD WHAT, MY SP FROM FIGHTING ADACHI DOESN'T COME BACK?!
This is gonna be tough[/sp]
[sp]Hope you like using only phys attacks[/sp]
[sp]Good thing I stocked up on sp restoration. Yosuke has an attack that inflicts severe phys damage, and I have lots of fire buffs for MC and Yukiko, with Teddie buffing it with attack boosts and healing with mediarahan when he needs to. If the oculus uses Foolish whisper or tentarafoo, then I can recover using amrita. I can inflict about 800 damage per turn with those set up, so it's already down to half health in about 5 minutes.[/sp]
[editline]29th September 2012[/editline]
Motherfucker. [sp]Getting 2 turns in a row is bad enough, but when he lands a crit and gets 3 he can really fuck me over.[/sp]
[sp]Sounds like you're having a lot more luck than I did. At most i could do 300-400 damage against him with a focused naoto using megidola[/sp]
I lost my save halfway through DDS2, was really disappointing :(
[sp]Hope you like using only phys attacks[/sp]
[sp]Having SP Regen on Naoto + one on Yu was quite helpful in P4G for that fight.[/sp]

he took a long time for me, pretty sure most were healing and only 1 attacking or some shit the entire time.
I'm always underleveled :(
he took a long time for me, pretty sure most were healing and only 1 attacking or some shit the entire time.
I'm always underleveled :(
imo being underleveled is part of the fun. You actually gotta plan your attacks and moves, and a single fuck up can cost you the battle.
And on top of that, beating the boss feels so good

yeah I remember taking over an hour on last boss persona 3 but it was just heal, attack, heal, attack every time. If fights required more it would be better but most of time underleveled just means the fights drag on so much.

Currently [sp]a single unlucky strike could spell doom, and i'm so close... i'm completely out of SP recovery and healing items too.[/sp]
[editline]29th September 2012[/editline]
[sp]Fuck, it's just me and Teddie holding on for dear life. He's almost dead, come on.. come on..[/sp]
[editline]29th September 2012[/editline]
[sp]Aaaand now it's just Yu Narukami vs the final boss. Shit's intense.[/sp]
[editline]29th September 2012[/editline]
FUCK.
Died and he just had a sliver of health left. God fucking dammit that's frustrating.
I know how you feel, bro. (also spoiler link)
Who'd want to watch if I livestreamed the P4 eng dub anime?

pig disgusting english
About to start Persona 4 for the first time, is there anything essential I should know before I irreversibly fuck something up? I have a habit of doing that.
Well I just finished Persona 4 and get the True Ending... goddamn that was cool.
[editline]30th September 2012[/editline]
Now that i've done Persona 3 and Persona 4, i'm gonna try out some of the other Megami Tensei games like digital devil story, devil summoner, and nocturne.
I suggest devil summoner. It's real time combat, but there aren't any voice actors, so you'll have to make them up yourself.

Never grind, don't forget Social Links, pump up your courage.
