afaik, it's gonna take some settings tweaking but a mid-range computer should run it.
you can get a used ps2 for literally ten bucks though :v:
Yeah, I did have a ps2, but I gave it to my lil bro because he had nothing to play. I've been playing quite a few games fine emulated though, like Yakuza 2 and such so I doubt I'll have much trouble. I might pick up a ps3 today, so I'll see if I can get a 60gb model.

If you can run Source at 300fps you can emulate P4 at x3 native and keep 60 fairly reliably.
I didn't have to tweak anything besides controller settings either.
Speaking of emulation, are there any cheat modules or something for PCSX2? I've seen P4 through to the end and now I just want to get max stats from the start so I can max out all the S.Links and what not.

There are some pnach's for PCSX2. What copy of P4 are you using? I found one for SLUS_217.82 which is the USA copy of it.
Edit: nevermind on that link, but ill try to find some based on whatever copy you have.
US [SLUS_217.82] - http://pastebin.com/XHbv4PtU (First address goes into the first section of x's, 2nd address goes into the 2nd group of them iirc)
Also bonus, widescreen (Stretches UI and stuff though..):

Any of those would go into PCSX2/cheats/DEDC3B71.pnach
I got the Pal version. Means it's locked at 50 fps, sadly. Was hoping it'd have a 60 option, but I guess not. Also anyone know how to completely curb the weird blurring? It's happened in other games I've emulated, but it's the worst on this. I switched from DX11 to DX9, and that toned it down, but it still blurs everything pretty much whenever the camera moves. Also what's a pnach, WearingNothing?

Pnach are basicly PCSX2's memory hack file format (think of Action Replay / Gameshark, but for PCSX2). The name of the file is usually the CRC of your ISO then .pnach. Eg my persona 4 is DEDC3B71.pnach

But what would that do for me?
And people weren't joking that this game takes a while to get going, Jesus Christ.

28 Days For Persona 4 Golden. Been waiting for it since I got my Vita and now it's less then a month away.
God, I need WaitMate.
There are many shoes in the market for runners now. However, most shoes are not good enough for runners. Asics Onitsuka Tiger Shoes do this, many runners like Onitsuka Tiger X Tokidoki Fabre. If there was a shoe designed for the severely overpronated runner, then they are Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81 Shoes.

uh, activate the cheats you want to use? there's a ton in the one wearingnothing posted
cheating through p4 felt fucking great though. nothing like destroying the bosses that gave you a hard time earlier.

First time playing through the game, so I'll pass.
And yeah, getting used to the blurring, it emulates fine, other than that.

oh whoops, thought you and the guy asking about emulating the game were the same, sorry.
yeah, it's usually better to play cheats-free the first time around. i did use the stats cheats as i wanted to do as many social links as possible the first time around and i frankly hated grinding those stats.
Anyone have codes for Max HP and MP and always great for Yukari?

are you playing on an emulator or the actual console?
if emulator, there's the pnach posted earlier which has some hp and sp codes.
if on the actual console, you're going to need a cheat disc.

Well if you have a hard time finishing them off in just one cycle you could just down them and let them waste their turn by getting back up.

That sounds like it'd use a lot of SP, but I am geared for it. DOING IT.

New Golden Trailer.
So basically, I have 1 day to do the whole of Yukiko's Castle.
Is it doable?
Shite, I've died in Yukiko's Castle three times. It may be because I keep trying to use other Personae and keep getting hit with my weakness and then two-hitted, should I just stick with Izanagi for now?

If it is your first time walking into the castle, you are fucked.
If you've grinded up to that point pretty regularly, then you maaay be able to pull it off, but you shouldn't be grinding in Persona

If you have a save within like 2-3 days of the dungeon becoming available you might be able to pull it off.
