Nothing tops the new boss in P4G. Such a long battle...
Black frost and Dis are pretty good in that fight, I must say

New boss?
Is it related to the story?
Persona 4 Spoilers, I wouldn't watch if you haven't played the game.

Wow I just finished Persona 4 Golden. I won't reveal anything but the stuff they added to the true ending was a very nice touch. (Also the brand new winter portion of the game was a great addition)

Somehow got sidetracked and started listening to P3 and P4's soundtracks. Really good stuff.
I wish I could afford a Vita, no way in hell I'm going to buy it just for P4G.

Teddie becomes a human?... Shit, I guess I better stop visiting this thread now.

[sp]He grew a body by doing sit-ups, of course.[/sp]
So I beat Persona 3 The Journey, and moved on to Nocturne because why not. And of course, this guy appears.

If you don't know who this fucker is, his name is MATADOR and he is that one boss who buffs his agility to maximum and then wrecks your shit unless you buff yourself and debuff him. It took me a while to kill him, but I got him on my 4th or 5th try.

Don't worry, you're not ruining anything for yourself.
It's not a plot-point, it's just a "oh yeah by the way" thing

Speaking of endings, here's the new ending added to P4G if you don't have a vita and want to watch it.
Spoilers, obviously.
I just got a Vita. I started downloading P4G about 3 hours ago. Only about 7 more hours until it's done downloading. I can't wait.
Sweet jesus, after 4 months and three save file losses I've finally made it back to Rise's dungeon. Countdown until my roommate's fat PS3 corrupts my data again T-3 hours.
P4G should arrive in the mail by friday(last place the tracking info said was at the sort facility, and it usually stays that way until it's delivered overseas), or by monday when I have jury duty(I hope not). :(

Well jury duty here consists of sitting in a big room for 7 hours and maybe getting to be on the actual jury, so P4G could be pretty useful.
Who knows, you may even get to gameplay before you leave. :v:
Warning probable wall of text incoming:
Okay guys I need some help if you wouldn't mind. I have some questions about P4G. Keep in mind this is my first experience with a persona game and I usually don't play RPG's.
1. If I leave a dungeon to heal up does it end my day? I'm currently on April 27 and have till the 29th I think to save Yukiko or whatever her name is.
2. This game is great but it pisses me off at the same time because of how it's designed. I can only do so much in one day and I feel like i'm going to end up not being able to develop all social links and also upgrade my knowledge etc. That plus the jobs and clubs doing any one of these things ends that part of the day. Am I doing it wrong or what?
3. Persona's. This system seems SUPER confusing to me. The game doesn't do a great job introducing you to how it all works. I have even looked online for help but it's just making things worse. I usually don't like using guides but i'm sorry this game is practically forcing me to use one. The guide i'm following (http://www.gamefaqs.com/vita/641695-persona-4-golden/faqs/65282) says I need a SUN persona by April 28. I have been grinding in the castle and not found a single one. I have all of the other ones it says I will need. It does not say why I will need these persona's.
4. Can I go into the TV world to grind whenever I want? Can I re-enter the castle when I have completed it?
Sorry for the silly questions but I feel somebody here can help me. I actually really like this game a lot and would like to continue enjoying it.
Dude just chill, take the game in your own time. You don't need to max everything out since there's a new game+ to do that in.
Just experiment with the personas, you'll get the hang of things eventually. I was in the same boat until after I finished her castle.

I don't think I can bring it in with me, but I'll try to get the best time I have on the weekend playing it.
-wall of text-
1. No, only if you leave the TV
2. Don't worry, you get one whole year to do all social links and you can upgrade all stats during that time as well(in new game+ you'll get extra dialogue you didn't get to see before since you lacked the required stat).
3. It can be confusing and a guide won't help much unless the person took the time to explain it. You should be able to fuse a sun card with other cards you have gotten from the castle.
edit: I just read small part of the guide, and it says by fusing Slime + Izanagi you'll get a sun card
4. Yes you can(there's also secret weapons that you can find after you cleared that dungeon).
Probably old as shit but true as fuck

Guess what? Arrived early.
I got my Solid Gold Premium edition last wednesday and i gotta say that its so much fun
I fucking thought [sp]Shadow Yukiko[/sp] was easier. I did it on my first try on a harder level in Golden compared to when I played on the PS2 Emulator. I didn't realize why though. Not sure if I like that or not; did they nerf any of the other bosses?
EDITED: And yeah, picking inherited skills is way more fun then hoping to get the skill you wanted. I've just made it past the Summer Camp event in Golden.
Okay confession time. I've never really beaten Persona 4, I know how it ends and what happens for the most part, but due to a friend borrowing my ps2 at the time (I had other systems so I didn't care) I found out he got to the end on my file for whatever reason.
I gotta echo out that I'm not too much of a fan on how the TV is during the day, Persona 3 felt much simpler because it let you build social links AND go to Tartarus, so it's really bugging me when every day I have someone wanting to hang out after class or a part time job.
That's what I love about Persona 4; the balancing act of maintaining social links, personality traits, and leveling in dungeons. Sure there are times you can fuck up and make what feels like a wrong decision on a day or two now and then, but I don't think it's possible to fuck up so bad you cannot complete the game. The first time I beat Persona 4 on PS2, I only managed to complete three social links (Not counting Teddie who you always max) Chie, Yosuke, and Dojima and it didn't disappoint me, it made me want to play though again and see how much better I could do and see everything.
Though Golden does give you a bit more time to accomplish stuff now that you can leave the house at night.
