I wonder why they took fleeing shadows out of P4, they get smaller and less threatening but it's kind of annoying having them constantly jump me when they die when I blink at them.

That reminds me though, I'm happy they removed the stupid flying shadows in P4G. I hated them in P4.

Fleeing shadows were the worst. That fucking screeching noise they make when I try and run past them in Tartarus haunts my nightmares.

Finally beat P3, [sp]sort of expected that the last boss battle would be a bit harder. I went with everyone at level 70 (Yukai, Junpei, and Mitsuru for the battle) and I ended up breezing through it faster then I expected. Great ending though. [/sp] Time to start P4!

Finally finished P4 yesterday. True ending was something of a surprise. Now to get P3 and play through that.

P4U won Spike's Fighting Game of the Year, doubling the number of awards the Shin Megami Tensei series has gotten in America.

It should be out later this month or in January. I really don't see it being released after Golden(Feb 27th).

I think I might get Persona 3 on the PSN store tonight. They randomly gave me a $10 credit in the store for being one of the "top customers" during Thanksgiving week, even though I only bought 1 game. So since P3 is $10, I figure I might give it a go. It's between this and God Hand. Anything I should know about this series before getting into it? Why is it called Persona 3: FES? How come nobody ever talks about Persona 1 and 2, were they terrible?

Persona 3:FES has new personas to use and the "The Answer" epilogue chapter, which isn't really worth playing Edit: If you do get Persona 1/2, get the PSP versions

There's a bit more grinding than I'd like, but it's a PS1 RPG so it's forgivable to a certain extent. In my opinion, Persona 2 (at least Innocent Sin) is confusing, slow, and whatever the merits of its plot way over-complicated the battle/contact system. I'm almost at the end of Persona 1 but couldn't even make it past the first boss in Innocent Sin.
