None of the games are actually connected aside from a couple references.
persona 3 and 4 are directly related more or less [editline]6th July 2012[/editline] as in they occur in the same world the school trip in 4 is basically one huge fan service to p3 fans

I'm probably thinking too much about this but i think the movie will come on the next full moon 2012 Aug 2 03:27 Thu According to> http://moonphases.info/full_moon_calendar_dates.html#Full_Moon_dates_2012
Is this a teaser for Persona 5? The third person on the left looks like Eikichi from Persona 2. The chick in the middle is obviously Mitsuru. On the right, there's Junpei, some chick who might be Yukari, and another girl who might be Fuuka. I don't know who the rest might be.

I wonder if the Adachi social link progresses with the story and [sp]you can talk to him when hes in jail[/sp]
I wonder if the Adachi social link progresses with the story and [sp]you can talk to him when hes in jail[/sp]
I'm pretty sure it maxes out when[sp]you decide not to tell anybody Adachi is the killer[/sp]
Considering the persona 3 movie is coming out soon, it'd make sense if it was about that...
But that's Mitsuru's P4A design.
Glad this thread is semi-alive(?) again, going to make a slight bump. Currently I'm playing Persona 3 Portable, enjoying it so far. I bought Persona 4 too but I'm going to wait until I finish P3P before starting it, currently I [sp]have 4 full moon shadow bosses left out of the 12, and I'm at around level 40 (as is my party)[/sp] Not sure how much of a spoiler I was so I tagged it. Does the difficulty ramp up? I've heard from my friends that [sp]the rest of the 4 bosses are a pushover.[/sp] Also, Pale Rider is probably the best persona I've used so far. Garu, agi, and mudo skills rolled up with a few support ones? Instantly win every battle :v:
Not really. Just go to tartarus often and you wont have problems with them.
What would you count as often? If I level once every other day would I be a high enough level?
What would you count as often? If I level once every other day would I be a high enough level?
No i mean one time per week for at least 15+ levels.
What would you count as often? If I level once every other day would I be a high enough level?
Yeah P3P is a lot easier then the other versions for some odd reason, even if you're not controlling your dudes directly. Hell the last full moon shadow sometimes doesn't even get a turn to attack. [sp]Good thing the game has more to it then the 12 shadows[/sp]
I always found all of the full moon shadows to be really easy, the tartarus bosses always felt a lot harder.
I always found all of the full moon shadows to be really easy, the tartarus bosses always felt a lot harder.
Yeah, that's on purpose. The team wanted to make sure you don't make a insanely unwinnable situation by ignoring the tower, so they made full moon bosses easier, they're more "plot" then actual bosses really

You'll end up fighting a lot and it'll probably take you a lot of time but you'll have a decent level and a good amount of items/cash. Also something I did was to climb as many floors as possible, so I would only have to visit tartarus 1 day and have all the other days free, it's almost a must if do if you want to have all the SL at max. About personas, just wait until you get Melchizedek. It's one of the best imo.

I'd spend 2-3 days like that before the next full moon. Gave me plenty of time for social links, the only reason I didn't quite max them all out was the fact I wasn't using a faq so I messed up on some of it. Although if P3P is so much easier than P3:FES then the way I did it might be overkill depending on how tough the final boss is compared to how tough it was on FES.

Not necessarily. I only rarely got tired. And even when tired, as long as you don't push too far you're alright as well. Doesn't actually have to be the very next night anyways.
New English persona 4 Arena trailer I'm so hyped right now
I wish Blazblue did better on PC so they would release Arena on PC as well.

I can't unhear Professor Genki.
Yu's voice is horrible in that trailer. I think the VA is trying too hard to not sound like Adachi.
of all the characters they bothered to get the original voice actors for, why mitsuru and elizabeth? not that either of them are bad, it's just so random
Only changed voices are Chie and Teddie. Not sure what you mean by that.
I wish Blazblue did better on PC so they would release Arena on PC as well.
I wish Atlus would release games for PC like Falcom has been doing with the Ys games through XSEED. The only console I even own anymore is my SNES so if a game isn't on PC, I can't play it.

Persona 4: Arena was released in Japan yesterday Here's an English stream http://www.twitch.tv/finestko Also, the faces on some of the sprites are a bit...off
Oh wow, there's a thread for these? Fuck yes. P3 is pretty much my favourite game ever, I bought a Vita just for P3P and P4G. Working through the female story, I've been playing for about 73 hours so far and I'm halfway through the final month. I really prefer it to the original, the social links are all heaps better (I do kinda miss the MMO social link though). Plus Junpei isn't anywhere near as annoying as he is when you play as a dude.

Though, because of the gameplay changes in P3P and P4 I cant really play FES anymore.
