Is the flagship available after unlock without mods? Or am I a bit behind. (Sorry if stupid question.)
I can add new rooms and move the systems around, I THINK I can make new weapons aswell but i'd have to look into it some more.
I'd love to see any progress you make, as I'm sure others would also.

No, the only way to get the flagship is to replace another ship as we've done.
Maybe if they let us access more of the games core files we can add more ships to the menu.
So having just unlocked The Red Tail I can confirm that I love it
It's got a really strong start
It just sucks when you can't replace the lasers fast enough.
I did it!

Man my fitting was perfect
C0MMUNIZT, asked me to recolor the Flagship to Facepunch color scheme:

that's pretty crap tbh
Oh god, I really want this game, and the potential it would have if it had modding tools...
If it had modding tools? First thing I'd do, would have to be Red Dwarf. Or maybe a starbug.
This game is pretty fun but I hoped that it was more like a sandbox open-world game rather than a single scenario with randomly generated elements.

First time I made it there and with no jumps left at all. Also I'm going to die in a pretty horrible way as I'm significantly unprepared for this and barely even got here.
I love using my ion cannons to disable an enemy's sheilds while they're in an asteroid field
you're boned mate
I ran into unmanned ship, so I figured I could just teleport my crew over and destroy the weapons with 0 resistance. Of course, being an unmanned ship it didn't have life support, so my crew promptly suffocated to death.

I made exactly the same mistake when I first got my teleporter and was excited to use it, you're not alone.

I don't disagree, that's why I've working on this:

Better?
Oh shit, beat the first form of the Flagship.
By the way, for those who haven't beaten it, you don't have to fight three separate forms of the Flagship straight in a row. It jumps away, giving you a chance to repair or stock up on equipment or whatnot.
I died
Didn't see that one coming
I wish there was a mode that allows you to spend points on systems and subsystems when you first start.

I think you made it smaller, since it dosent fit and looks odd ingame.
If only this game had SPAZ style of gamemode. Destiny/Firefly simulator 24/7.
Exploring a galaxy with different friendly and not-so-friendly lifeforms, upgrading and fixing/tweaking your ship through the journey
oh man...

I fucked up the resolution. I'll PM you a proper version.
Now with the new version of Jack's skin.

Gunu start work on making it face the correct direction.
this game gets old pretty fast
i thought it would be more of a roguelike in the sense it wouldnt be incredibly linear

Let's hope the money that's being raked in on this title will make for a better sequel/same kind of game with more variety.
Or just that they patch and add to the game in the coming year.
Cloaking is probably the best thing you can have for the 2nd and third stages of the flagship. Just upgrade your engine, you don't need to upgrade the cloak all that much. You need at least 40% dodge, since cloak adds 60%, then once the flagship sends out drones, you cloak. They all miss. Third phase, it uses the superweapon? Cloak right after it fires, they all miss.
Is this game still in open development, or is it going to be a DLC sort of deal?

There are already over 25,000 lines of text in the events in the game (and we’re still not done). Many events have secret options that can only be unlocked with special equipment, and most of the events have multiple possible outcomes to keep them fresh. In addition to the events, the huge variety of weapon types and strategies ensures that no game will be the same."
it is still linear as fuck

there may be 25,000 lines of text and a bunch of secret shit but every sector still feels like the same 4 different events every time

I've already lost count of the amount of times I've been asked to help people from fires, giant spiders, some unknown disease, as well as asking me if I want to take with me an unknown species.
I wonder how many of those 25,000 lines are devoted to very rare events, because to me it seems like at least 22,000 of them are.
All we need now is an augment for your ship that makes all of your crew immune to suffocation. Then they can invade unmanned ships, and just keep all doors open all the time and suffocate enemies.

maybe some time in the future we can all band together and make some kind of free roam mod. i used to mod cortex command alot and make pixel art for that as well as other websites so it shouldnt be too different

Yeah that makes sense.
Give your ship an augmentation. Then they leave the ship that has the agumentation... and they... they are still augmented somehow...
