I'm pretty sure the entire plot of the games revolved around how kratos killed himself or something
I'm not 100 sure.
GoW 1 starts with him trying to commit suicide by jumping off the highest point in all Greece.
SPOILARS:
[sp] But then Olympus was like "Yeah we were just messing with you, you dont have to go kill yourself, Here, become a god" He then lets it all go to his head And what follows is this:[/sp]

Thank you Manly men doing manly things
Pokemon takes Insurmountable Waist High fence to the furthest extremes: You can't simply walk around or attack the sleeping snorlax, you can't fly up ledges- only straight to pokecenters, You can't walk around or through trees, not even tiny saplings, you can't walk up a 6 inch high cliff, you can't climb over rocks or boulders, BUT you can bribe guards with just a can of soda.
What didn't make sense to me was, at the end of Fallout 3, I had the broken steel DLC so <SPOILER ALERT|STOP READING IF YOU DIDN'T FINISH FALLOUT 3>I put the code in the purifier and my dude hit the ground. The narrator told my story than said "So ends our story of the lone wanderer." Then I wake up and im in the Citadel. Well obviously not the end. I know Bethesda couldn't change that because Broken Steel was released later but still... IT NEVER ENDS!

Anyways Broken steel is fucked up. Why can't they make an ending that allows you to continue with your life? Why wouldnt they make the narrator say something like "The lone wanderer still has many days in front of him, and it is a mystery as to what fate has in store for him."

Sometimes your suspension of disbelief carries over into the cutscenes.

Any Call of Duty game. Shoot your buddy in the arse and your military career is over.
MW2 on the level where you have to defend the house. The ending of that level was like, " WTF ? I DID ALL THIS FOR YOU OMFG?!".
I was just like "Oh hey, they killed the player. Again. For the third time."
Spore, because not only have you just went into a supermassive Black Hole, you're given a magical object to spread life by the alien ship in Sim City 2000

That dog ending, it made no sense at all.
um, it was a joke ending. like the UFO endings in the other ones.
here's my two cents of no sense: there are many theories about Borderlands that the Vault Hunters are in a cyclical cycle (lol, redundancy) of finding the vault, opening it, fighting the Vag'Thulu monster in it, then doing it all over again like a global ret-con because the scientist lady Patricia Tannis wrote some funky shit on a wall while she was imprisoned in the Crimson Fastness. apparently they were trying to get an in-universe justification for the multiple playthroughs you can choose to go through in the game. it makes no sense why anyone would even want an in-universe justification for fucking NEW GAME PLUS. especially through the words of a lady who's already built up a reputation for herself being a psychopath who dates her ECHO Recorder. it's New Game Plus. nothing more, nothing less, there's nothing cryptic about it. just play it.
The story of Blaster Master on the NES.
º The protagonist's frog pet (named Fred) escapes his bowl and flees outside the house.
º Then, it just so happens that right outside by the house's garage entrance there's a big pile of radioactive materials (awesome to live right next to that kind of stuff). And, of course, the frog happens to flee towards the lovely stuff, whilst the boy runs after it.
º The frog then jumps on top of the radioactive container (of sorts) and in a matter of a few seconds grows to an enormous size. Then, the frog-monster finds a hole in the courtyard, big enough for the newly-grown frog to jump in, and of course our intelligent boy decides it's a good idea to follow the amphibian and jumps in the hole too (a hole he seems to have never been aware of anyway).
º The boy then falls down some tunnel at the bottom of which there happens to be a well placed and still operating futuristic and advanced combat vehicle. Now, of course, there's no one left to pilot/drive the vehicle, but there's one suit available for a would-be driver, and the boy knows how the thing works, wears the suit, equips the helmet and activates the vehicle.
º Perhaps the strangest part of it all is that when the slide-show scenes of the introduction gets to the final shot we can see the vehicle from behind ready to start, but farther away we can clearly see that the vehicle faces the exit of a cave of some sort, the "cave" in which the boy and the frog fell in, which of course happens to be underground, but the shot clearly shows that after the exit we're just going back "outside", with a forest on the horizon and a clear blue sky, as if we just entered a completely new world (which is certainly the case, too).
Don't mind the story though, it's a fantastic game, but when taking care of and reading the story for pure analysis purposes we kind of comfort ourselves when we get games with "disappointing" stories nowadays, because mind you, we did get nonsensical stories in our so called "golden age of gaming" as well, yeah.
I loved that game. Never realized how little sense it made.

No I was just saying Spoiler Alert. No inserts. Yeah you're right on the continuation of Fallout 3.
The ending to Just Cause 2.
But then I remembered I was playing Just Cause 2.

Prime example of the mindfuck ending done right. Except for the fact that it's a gigantic cliffhanger.
What's really strange is why the hell it matters that an American was found at the site of a terrorist attack. Not all violent Americans work for the U.S. Military. The leader of the 9/11 attack was Egyptian, but we didn't immediately invade Egypt after the WTC fell.
It doesn't matter, Makarov must have manipulated Russia into thinking that the incident at the airport was all America's doing.

So true!
Damnation. I think I said enough of it, sure it was an fun game with a friend to play through it in COOP but still I mean wtf, it was like a third-person puzzle shooter. You always had to find ways etc and they never said where to.
Oh and Ghost has the reaction time of a fucking peach.
