You also don't have blood, or nazis.
Godwin's rule Exhibit number 2billion four thousand nine hundred and forty two right here. And the worst kind of case is the ones that don;t have the collapsable bit in the middle (you know you press it down and the middle shrinks so you can get it out) Some of them just have a near solid plastic knob so you have to practically bend the disk to pull it out.
I had that too. Few days later of relatively good care, the disk stopped working. I just returned it :|
Because he is one of those mainstream-media following idiot little kids? Who doesn't take care to remove his games from his case with care.
Ever since I started playing mw2 I haven't been able to play anything but it. You should try it out broski.
That happened to my C&C 3 disk, it's why I buy all my games from Steam now. Broadband for the win.
Ever since I started playing mw2 I haven't been able to play anything but it. You should try it out broski.
NO, because I fail to see what is no fun about another half assed sellout game that apeals to only those who are ignorant.
Eh, like I've said before, MW2 is a good game. Weak story but it's an FPS so what can you expect? Also, I handle my games very carefully so the game did not break do to lack of proper care.
Hl2 is a fps your point is invalid. So is stalker, rainbow six 3, system shock 1, system shock 2, doom,etc...
I suggest getting a CD Jacket for your games. I'm the kind of guy who likes to keep the cases to show off my collection. But I keep my games and such in a CD Jacket for safety and convenience.
NO, because I fail to see what is no fun about another half assed sellout game that apeals to only those who are ignorant.
Don't knock it, 'till you try it...
Where do you live? My case is quite different from yours (on the part where the DVD rests).
NO, because I fail to see what is no fun about another half assed sellout game that apeals to only those who are ignorant.
I KNOW RIGHT EVERYONE SHOULD ENJOY ONLY THE THINGS YOU ENJOY. EVERYTHING ELSE IS DUMB. RIGHT? Hurr. Accept the fact that some people like different things from you. It may have a sub-standard story, but I really enjoy the gameplay and overall I think it's a really fun game. It's not so fucking black and white that you can say, "Anyone who likes x is obviously an idiot because I don't like it." It's very ironic that you call others ignorant. [editline]05:52PM[/editline] Also, I honestly don't see how someone's ignorance can affect what games they enjoy(unless you're talking about the story/ignorance of reality).
Hl2 is a fps your point is invalid. So is stalker, rainbow six 3, system shock 1, system shock 2, doom,etc...
All right, cool. The fact that a majority of FPS's don't have the greatest stories. So, in fact, my argument is very valid.
why can't these eco cases remove plastic from the other side of the case, where the manual goes?
I pretty sure you broke it yourself by yanking it out instead of pushing the middle button...
There is no middle button (Or at least no apparent middle button, it just looked like a snap in and out kind of case.) I just looked at my copy of ACII, and it is one of these cases. I also noticed a little crack on the inner ring. I will make sure to change cases asap. (It is brand new, I have only taken it out and put it back in the case about 3 times.) Just checked, and yes, you can push on the center to make it so you don't have to snap it in and out. They just need to make that more clear. [editline]04:49AM[/editline] Just checked, and yes, you can push on the center to make it so you don't have to snap it in and out. Your game has cancer. Deal with it...or find a cure.
what exactly is the point of those pieces of plastic on the side, around the disk? do they keep the disk from melting while attached to the center or what.
what exactly is the point of those pieces of plastic on the side, around the disk? do they keep the disk from melting while attached to the center or what.
You mean the pieces of plastic on the case that surround the disc when it is in the case? Most likely to keep shit from going underneath the disc itself and scratching the hell out of it. Also what the FUCK are you talking about melting??
It's all part of IW/Activision's plan, so you have to buy another one.
So I bought MW2 back when it came out and played it off and on. Over the past few days I've noticed the center ring of the disc looking really rough. I also noticed it looked roughest at the parts where it made contact with the case. Then this morning when I went to play it, my 360 could not read it. Then I looked at the disc and there was a slight crack through the DVD sprouting from the center. So the only safe assumption is that the case has been slowly ruining the game every time I take it out or put in it. I did take really good care of the game too, always making sure it was in its case and such. And in case you guys were wondering what kind of case it was or how the disc looks, I have pictures. So my question is, does anyone know what I can do about this? Do I contact Activision, Infinity Ward, or Microsoft? I really don't know what to do in this situation. >>>This same freak-in thing happened to me. This was a 60 dollar game now reduced to a coaster because of the CRAPPY case that it is in!! I have never ever broken any game that I have ever owned and because of this case, this is the only game I have broken.
i find some cds hard to get ou of the cases like the 2 disc cd's you practically have to bend the cd to get it out
Here's a good suggestion: http://nostalgeek.wordpress.com/2009/04/08/the-cover-project-universal-game-cases-ocd-geek-heaven/ The case doesn't have those shitty missing pieces, plus if you go to the The Cover Project's website you can request the needed covers. It looks a lot nicer IMO, and it takes up less space.
protip: don't put it in your xbox anymore i mean it could EXPLODE in your optical disc reader and i'm serious, it happened with my trackmania united DVD on PC, there was a crack at the center just like this
When I got the game for christmas it took me 20 minutes to get it out of the damn case
