Might just have to go back to the old way of currency with MoneyDrop since this emerald currency just won't work. I imagine emeralds will take on a worth of their own anyway.

The only goal of emerald is to provide currency, just like dollars, so if they have no value then they are worthless except for building. Just like dollars would be worthless except for burning for warmth. Consider this, what value does Lapis have? Emerald is just slightly rarer. You should get someone to code a shop/shrine at spawn that eats emeralds for random rewards.

Lapis isn't meant to be used as a currency, it's because of how rare blue dye was way back whenever.

Hey Goose, is the faction spawn going to be disabled? It's pretty annoying when you trap someone in a nice, warm cell, only to have them commit suicide and teleport out within a few minutes. [editline]20th August 2012[/editline] It would add an interesting dynamic to freeing prisoners too. Instead of just having them commit suicide and escaping that way, an actual prison break would need to be organized by outside forces. Sounds pretty cool to me.

I liked having no f home because it gave beds a point. gave me and my friends a reason to strategically place a barracks of sort.

I think beds should override f home, it would give them a point and you still have f home.
