Flying castles basically makes ground castles/towns obsolete and will end up with people only making air castles.

No one really makes them because they're extremely time consuming, and it's hard to expand outward with them. The only thing that's making them somewhat lucrative right now is the return ender portal. You basically have to have control of an ender portal on the overworld in order to safely return to your flying base anyway. So how would that make ground castles or towns obsolete. Stop talking out of your ass, AGAIN. This is just like everyone bitching about how everyone is going to make an underwater base when I banned water walls. How's that underwater base coming along?

Can you make it so hunger takes you down to 1 heart? I can't even make a start because there's no animals close enough to spawn to get food from before I die.

Just started on the server, there's like nothing around spawn to eat.

I recently became best friends with the spawn for like a week because I kept dying. Now I have a decent base that's thousands and thousands of blocks away from it. Just keep trying and you'll eventually manage. However I can see that becoming annoying needing to wait 1 minute after starving to death.

Get some wood, get a boat, and sail on the sea to a far away land. Traveling by boat requires way less food/energy.

There is grass that can be used to get seeds to make wheat and then bread. You're not trying hard enough and you just want it to be easy. Sorry, this server is supposed to be difficult.

What I think would be interesting, as far as events go - If you've ever played the Ancient World server, they would have events called rifts where chunks of stone/nether materials would come forth from the ground and summon a tooon of monsters along with it. It would be pretty fun/get people working together to protect their bases. (Although the monsters on Ancient World are buffed and asshole-like) I'm not saying to completely steal their idea, but the concept is really cool.
