The next event we do should somehow involve the ships plugin, or take place in that absolutely massive ocean near spawn.
I cut down a tree, and 4 are planted in its place.
UBS cut down all the trees around the castle, and now its scary to go outside.
You should see the forest behind iron horde.

Don't worry, you guys have some time. Just a little teaser. The event won't take place until a little after Halloween. It will be our Halloween event. It will implement vampires and werewolves, as well as a new motivation for faction relations.

I'm pokin the plugin devs of the Vampire plugin to see if I can get them to do something sort of neat.
So, the werewolf plugin already has this, so its definitely going to happen for them. What I want to happen is, if you become a Vamp/Wolf, you will be put into a special permissions group.
Basically, I'm going to make death way more harsh for vampires and werewolves. Something like a 30 minute wait time.

That is really harsh, especially considering werewolves already can't wear armor. Maybe 10 minutes would be better?

well werewolves would only have that during the time they are a werewolf though.

Why only a minute, though? That's virtually nothing in Minecraft time. It might as well be as if there's no penalty at all. It just strikes me as odd. Why not make it something meaningful, like an hour?

if I had to wait half an hour to be able to play I wouldn't play regardless. that's nowhere in the realm of fun.

to be honest the whole auto-ban death thing is just more annoying and only serves to decrease the fun and increase the frustration.
