Hey Shazpunch
Remember when you were arguing againts a team that they didnt played any comp?
And you asked them if they wanted to do a scrim?
Well they agree to do it
Both teams just gotta define a date and they will ask their capper if he can get on that day
Shazbutt? They never sent me an email to me so how did you contact them.
I did ask a few weeks ago and they said "oh yeah on sunday at 2" and they never got back.
If I install the Steam version, will I be able to use the same account I've been using on the non-Steam one? Like, will all my unlocks and such carry over?

Yes, your unlocks are tied to your account, not steam.
Installing the Steam version when you already have the standalone version is pointless. You gain nothing from it. Just open the launcher and in the options add -steam to the launch parameters.

The god and all mighty word has spoken, everyone say no more.

Does anyone know what this shit is and how to fix it?
It's been like that for 2 hours and nothing seems to be happening.
What in the world happened to the font?

you should probably eat today
Just got in my first game - what a clusterfuck. Most of my bullets miss, when I have my crosshairs on the enemy my bullets miss, when I try and predict where to shoot my bullets miss. Basically I miss everything.
The game is a real big clusterfuck of people running around too quickly. I'm lucky to kill one or two people a round, is this normal? I had my crosshairs on a stationary enemy and I did no damage to him whatsoever.
Well first thing first, are you playing on the right server region?
Second thing is that the weapons are projectile based, not hit scan. You'll need to lead your target.
Also inheritance. Your projectiles will gain 50% of your momentum in the direction your traveling when you fire, so account for that. This is a bad explanation of what it is but that's the jist.

This is supposed to happen, you have to shoot where the enemy is going, not where the enemy is.
when I try and predict where to shoot my bullets miss.
Might be just the fact you're a new player.
I had my crosshairs on a stationary enemy and I did no damage to him whatsoever.
Were you a kilometre away? Cause that's not supposed to happen until you're quite far away.

start with discs weapons, try to land shots with the light spinfusor and the spinfusor MKD. Automatic weapons are much harder to use in T:A

Totally normal for your first few games. Eventually things just start to make sense.
And please don't worry about kills or k/d ratio, because they mean absolutely nothing. You could spend a whole game in your generator room (a stupid decision, as generators are simply not worth defending (a half-competent/experienced team will not be stopped by anything that a generator powers)) and earn more kills than the Heavy on Flag, even though his job was so much more important than yours.
Also don't grab the flag unless you're going really fast (250+) and from a good angle (as in, not going from the front of their stand right to the back of it)
really, don't, please

Crosshairs are useless for bullet weapons. I suggest you disable it in the options until you understand how the multiplayer works.
Also bullet weapons aren't the main killer in this game (or at least they shouldn't be), its the spinfusors and the other explosives. They work similarly to the Rocket Launcher in TF2. Try playing with those if you are having trouble with bullets.

You should start with using the Soldier class and use the thumper d when your opponent touches the ground so you get the most out of the splash damage, use the assault rifle for mid- and low-range. You'll just have to get used to the weapons if you can't hit anything at first, don't worry, the more you use the weapons, the more ammo you can waste later on.
I just started playing a few hours ago, but I loved every second I've played since then, the first F2P-game where I left the game trembling from adrenaline.

Oh, and learn to ski, if you're chasing a flag carrier for example, you should know how to catch up.

lol. also if anything, crosshair shouldn't be disabled, it should be the damage numbers that fly out because it blocks your view of the enemy

Is there a Quake 3-like hit sound? If not then they should replace the huge numbers with that and maybe use different pitches and volumes for how much damage you did.
Oh dammit. I'm level 7 and now I'm being put with 21's and 30's :C
Ha just got 150 repairs,11 kills, and 2 deaths in one match.
