Listen Chirno you can't argue what you can't win, the Jackal completely detracts from the role of the INF, supposed to plan and coordinate their attacks, with the jackal they can just run in willy nillie, plant 3 jack-a-nades on the flagstand and detonate them while running away. There's no co-ordination, plus they're better than the SMG because they're also useful for dueling, something the spinfusor falls down against (see: sidegrades) the jackal does both of these functions in one gun, plus they can throw them from quite some distance or even just keep them stuck on the stand like mines, not even the Raider can do this and the SEN/DMB are the other two than can barely do this, the jackal isn't necessarily OP, it's just massively better than the other two weapons you're given, which it shouldn't be, if anything - swap the Raider's Arx Buster for the Jackal and bring the damages down to suit, then you have a better fit.

Don't need to plan shit other than breaking the base sensor.

I loved my time playing this game but I eventually stopped playing it as it kinda became a bit too repetitive. It has very solid gameplay mechanics but it all seems a bit too redundant to me.

The jackal could have longer detonate time, like the sticky grenades in TF2.

No really, what else can one do besides putting third person and go right and left franctically? I can't think of any other weapon that one-hit kills you that quickly, besides mortars, heavy AP grenades, and anti-personel grenades. Not even brute weapons, which should be meant to pack the hardest punch, deal enough to kill a medium in one hit.
I have absolutely no idea what happened in a game I played earlier but it was great. Was on crossfire, was skiing across from our ship to theirs, and as I made the jump toward their flag, I chucked two sticky grenades into the hold and I went over the top of the ship. I proceeded to get 10+ badges at once, and a shitload of XP. I really wonder what the hell happened in there when I chucked those stickies.. I know I killed the guy carrying our flag, but I think I just decimated everyone in there somehow.

Ok my two cents about the jackal: The main problem about the jackal is the point of view: Is supposed to be a trap and harassment weapon, just like the prism mines. But what we got is a better version of the ARX buster, way more control and you can shot while invisible and with that, the ultimate offensive weapon. If they lower the damage barely a 10% and add a good arm time in between shots the jackal will fits the original purpose for what it was made for. I play every class except sentinel (because fuck sentinels) and I pilot every vehicle proficiently. I've gotten slayer as Doombringer, Brute, Shrike Pilot, Beowulf pilot, raider, and infiltrator multiple times. I've gotten all five caps in games before. I hit obsidian in flag returns long ago.
