Great patch notes, I want to see it in action, but it seems promising.
.. It's a shame there's still ( and probably never will) no 3rd person camera fix..

There's a lot of debate over this completely destroying the lightweight perk, in my opinion they should make L/W negate the effects of the patch to the nitrons.

erm... doesn't this mean they haven't changed? since self damage jumping in general was increased 20% it just brings everything more in-line

Not completely, you can still use the guns. But shrike chasing will be much more difficult now.

If everyone starts using safefall then sure, but they're probably not going to
I'm actually fine if someone can be near immune to my shrike roadkills, but I'd be grateful if there was some kind of visual indicative of that, so that I don't bump into him 2 times without hearing any noise or damage and going "welp I guess I missed *180degree retry*".
This patch seems better and better everytime I read through it.

It's still rendered useless because its advantage was precise shots, which does less damage than the devastator's.
The "AREA DENIAL" of this weapon is a piece of crap, due to the slow reloading and projectile speed, AND detonation time.

Super heavy still stops you getting knocked about as much by explosive damage, and thus allows you to stand on the flag more easily.

He means that safefall may potentially negate the normal effects of Super Heavy, which allows you to kill enemies rapidly accelerating into you.

I doubt anyone is going to sacrifice their good perks for something that is sometimes useful.
