Does the twinfusor have less knockback than the regular?
Does the twinfusor have less knockback than the regular?
yes
dam temple ruins looks way diferent than before. map visuals feels kinda incomplete
So i was just going to the BR servers and started using the voice packs
I got accused of using hacks for using a voice pack
I cringe every time I hear that Aussie voice-pack.
CHEESEBOT!

HUEHUEHUE
i'm a little disappointed all the twinfusors look the same.
i liked how before every weapon with unique stats had a different appearance and you can identify it straight away from the projectile and sound
now there's three guns with different stats that all look the same :(
The heavy twinfusor should have been horizontally loaded (Like the regular ones) to poke fun at how the Heavy spinfusor is loaded vertically :v:
Just see what class he is using
I have mixed feelings about the twinfusor.
pros: you juggle people around and all. You can adjust your aim with the second shot if the first one misses.
Cons: the damage is tooo looow, unless you direct hit with both discs, which is very unlikely
Also, the discs hitbox isn't changed that much at all

erm, even without direct hits hitting with both disks is still more damage than a non-direct spinfusor shot
the damage is fine

i'm not saying it's going to break the game or anything... ofc you can tell straight away from the armour, but I just expected them to be more distinct
Anyone else not able to log in? "The login information submitted is invalid"
I can log into the Hirez website just fine.

Apparently I hit space by accident and entered a blank space onto the end of my name...

Hey wait a second, if I go sniper I can hit anyone from anywhere on the map. Who cares if no one is having fun, look at my kill count.
I played a few PUGs in Dangerous Crossing, and spectated one in Permafrost.
DC is a really fun map, though with a full 32 players it may get a bit cramped and chaotic. It feels like a proper Tribes map.
Permafrost was 30 minutes of 0-0, because the generator room is way too easy to defend.
Stonehenge's boundaries were moved in, so the map is tiny now, and there are no more decent cap routes.
Temple somehow popped up in a pub game, it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be. The bases are a lot more open now, allowing for grabbing without 15 enemies dancing around a cluttered flag stand.
chasing is dead now thanks to nitron nerf.
Why is the soldier's spinfusor AOE so fucking HUGE now? The amount of times I've been killed by a shot that would normally miss is making me develop brain cancer.
Hi-Rez REALLY needs to learn how to properly balance. It seems like every time they buff one thing they feel like they HAVE to nerf another thing, which isn't always right.

It feels like all they've done is buff in this update. Spinfusors in general are far more powerful, the twinfusor is currently on par with the plasma rifle, the LAR is now the pathfinder equivalent of the X1 and the delay on the orbital strike is so short that it's nearly impossible to escape it in time (even as a light class.)

They did debuff the jackal.
I think the Eagle Pistol should be tweaked slightly to make it more like the Nova Colt (somewhat slower, bit less clip, but less falloff), hopefully making the Spinfusor/Eagle loadout more on par with Rifle/Thumper. At the moment the falloff is insane (100-39, which is a 61% falloff reduction, compared to Colt with 190-123, which is 36% falloff).

"Far more" may be an exaggeration, and it was a needed buff anyway, to shift focus away from automatic weapons.
the twinfusor is currently on par with the plasma rifle,
??
Explain
the LAR is now the pathfinder equivalent of the X1
No, it's not, it's nothing like that. It's a chasing weapon, not a dueling weapon, and it shows -- try playing Arena with PTH/LAR. Besides, it's nearly the same thing as it was before Hirez broke it in the previous patch.
Also, the X1 is only overpowered because it is given to a class that really did not need an auto for a secondary.
and the delay on the orbital strike is so short that it's nearly impossible to escape it in time (even as a light class.)
They didn't change that. And if you have your volume up and are paying attention, it's still pretty easy to escape, as a light or medium. I do think it could be a little bit longer, maybe 2-3 seconds, but it's no different than it was before.
(As far as I'm aware. The patchnotes don't say anything about it and I've not noticed any difference.)
X1 is overpowered because it fills a anti-air role allowing for the Juggernaut to be very adaptable. You could reduce the damage a hell of a lot on it and it will still fill that role.
tried reinstalling twice, repair, whatever
still crash after 30 secs of playing

Not trying to be rude but this isn't a support thread, talk to hirez.
Orbitals still leaks through ceilings. I give up hope, they'll never fix it.

i think that supposed to happen, no???
because you know explosions explode
its not like a tiny wall is going to stop a hugeass shockwave
thats like hiding from an atomic bomb inside a fridge

Then I must go full indiana jones and hide in the generator, which is olbitalproof because the walls are reinforced with.. fridges?
Those ceilings are fine but the others are not? v:v:v
this game is really badly optimized and it's annoying because it narrows down what classes you can use quite a lot
I love this game and all but fuck thumpnicians.

God forbid they use a weapon that's actually effective indoors

Considering the engine used, I'm confused as to why the specs are so high myself.
