Should I buy the Tech's shotgun while it's on a daily deal?
I bought the thumper when that was on he daily deal and I love it
Yes, battle tech wrecks sand rakers
Oh? I haven't played in a while. New voices?
I may need to do an updated version of my Rock the Shazbot vid.
[editline]29th July 2012[/editline]
Also, why can't I log in? It says my info's invalid, when it... isn't.
Oh diamond sword, i tried to stay loyal i really did, but every match you loose so often... I just cant do it anymore, I'm leaving you... you... -sandrakers-.
i like the diamond sword spawns more so i just play as them
Every time I start getting locked on by one, I just sigh and say to myself "Wow, you're really using that piece of shit?". Even more so when I'm still close to the ground and they still try.
It's best used against shrikes, because there's fuckall that they can do about the missles :v:
But using it while on the ground is silly.
Since nitrons got nerfed I tried out the Explosive nitrons as a capper.
God damn you go fucking flying. If you can grab the flag with 500+health you can use another one even when you have the flag and its zooooooooooooom.

Sabers barely bother good shrike pilots
Anyone else incapable of logging in?
It keeps telling me my info is invalid.

Shrikes can outrun missiles and can easily just go behind a hill for a few seconds...

I'm honestly curious, why is it that diamond sword loses so often? It seems like whenever I join a game and am forced to join diamond sword, they're always down a couple points, every time.
because everyone wants to join BE and better players have better reactions
Why are the Doombringer mines so expensive, I want to play HoF but it's difficult without those explodey disks of fun.

Is there a space at the end of your name?

Yeah, although they are not helping their team at any critical point, Doombringers often manage to annoy the shit out of me by trying to lock onto me every time I barely bounce off the ground. Save it for escaping carriers or shrikes. All they do is cost me and them time and ammunition, because I almost always have time to either stop and shoot it or go behind a hill.

If I'm doing some HoF when nothing is going on I just wave my launcher around, then it locks onto people then I can watch them panic and go to ground and/or lose their speed. I hardly ever fire at random and distant targets.
Good for a wee laugh.

Mostly pointing my finger at the ones who hide in towers waiting to lock onto anything that lifts its legs off the ground.

Well, you can always use them against beowulfs :v:

why cap as pth when you can easily go the same speed but have more health as sld
why cap as pth when you can easily go the same speed but have more health as sld
Maneuverability.
umm
Maneuverability doesn't just mean forward velocity. Pretty sure the ability to change angle in the air (using jetpack) and while traveling curves is easier with lighter classes. Notice how the Pathfinder gets -10% mass in one of the armor upgrades. It says something about it affecting explosive jumps but I'm pretty sure there's a little more to it than that.
k and? most routes are 40-50 seconds long. i hope you're not one of those people that just jets straight down mid field and grabs the flag in a front to nowhere route.
I'm just saying there is a difference, and the difference is the ability to outmaneuver oncoming threats, like avoiding well placed shots by experienced players. If you can cap as soldier that's fine, I'm just saying that some people prefer freedom of mobility to avoid damage rather than having more health to soak it up.
And, no, I'm not a front-to-back grabber.
From what I can tell Tech smg is only good if you're doing what tech does (corridors).
I wouldn't count on it for anything that isn't in or around your base. Unless you have Aimbot-tier aiming skills, then the DPS is supposedly great. In close range on slow targets you'll be landing most shots and it is decently effective though.
Most bullet-based weapons are good for getting in some damage when an enemy is in the air, since he can't quickly change direction like he can on the ground so he's a pretty easy target.
Once you get used to the tracers, you can do pretty damn good easily with an smg against airborne enemies.

except anybody who is any good can place shots. it's not like cpma in quake where you can do 90 degrees without losing any speed, the "maneuverability" you're talking about is just a slight angle adjustment of like, 4 degrees. i'd rather have more health than "maneuverability" when capping in a game not filled with noobs.

Those 4 degrees can make the difference between a direct hit and aoe damage right at your heels giving you more velocity.
I think you're being a little bit firm in your belief that having more health is simply better than being lighter. Both have their advantages.

except if you're running a sld route you'll be on par/faster than if you did a pth route.

and i'm sure a chaser would be able to catch a 270+ sld with 878 health.
Huh the Raider pack is £5.99 on steam. Looks worth it to me.
Man, I took a break, and now I can barely play... Damn.
also, the new voices are AWFUL.
why cap as pth when you can easily go the same speed but have more health as sld
Except the soldier is an easier target and takes longer to get back, despite getting the grabs at the same speed he still takes longer than a PTH to get back to base.
Still fun though.
