I miss it when people were fun and joined in on the VGS and silly antics. Now they're all super serious and annoying pricks that think they're superior to you in every way.
What would be most recommended between buying the motion sensor or the repair kit? I know both items do not fit the same purpose, but which one would be best to get first?
Repair kit every time. Motion sensors are pretty specific and dull.
I'm thinking about trying out one of the older Tribes games. Which is the best?
T:V or Tribes 2
T:V
WE DO NOT SPEAK THAT NAME IN THIS HOUSE. But you should try out Tribes 2. Make sure to play on classic mod (literally everyone plays that mod, t2 base is too slow) on servers without bots.
Whats so bad about Tribes:V?
I liked Tribes: Vengeance It wasn't Tribes, but it was fun.
Done
Anyone want my tribes ascend account? It has like 5k'ish in gold, 90k in xp, 90% of weapons unlocked and upgraded, bunch of loadout slots unlocked, all characters unlocked and fully upgraded, level 30'ish, lifetime vip. I don't play anymore and would trade it for a $15-20 steam game. You could can change the username in the options.
I do not have games, but I have hats that can be traded for monies/games.
Are the servers down right now? Every time I try to start the game the launcher starts checking for software updates and then just sits there doing nothing. Doesn't even say whether it could connect to the servers or not.
We're on the 3rd page. Game dead.

I started playing again yesterday. I forgot how fun thumper tech is.
Im just reinstalling this now. I missed my 10$ Thumper.
Im just reinstalling this now. I missed my 10$ Thumper.
Worth every penny.
Won the SEN bundle on the stream and finally mastered all the classes, again! Until next patch.
I fear I have crossed into an alternate universe. Today in Tribes 2 I stopped chainwhoring and utilized minediscs and midair minediscs.
That feel when you dominate a level 50 infil so bad he goes dmb, kills you once, and spams VGTA.
I am wating for a gold sale so I can spend that 10 gold that has been haunting me forever. It was 20 gold for a thing once. Just wait... It will go lower.
I just defended my generator room on Sunstar as a thumpnician from 3 brutes (fractals too), a juggernaut, and 4 infiltrators with no help other than my turrets for 10 mins and I topped the team with like 45000 points. They lost. Can you guess why? :v:
Because they had a lot of heavy players. Was grav cycling last night, went to the edge of the map to repair, two heavies came to kill my bike and I killed them with my thumper then walked back to base and bought another 3 bikes with the money they got me by dying. Don't understand people who play heavy.

Yeah Brute players are weird.
Brutes are like a couple of classes combined into a heavy piece of armor. He has a spinfusor, shotgun, plasma gun, stickies, energy shield and more shit.
I've noticed a pattern of the classes; you get 3 types (heavy, medium and light) and 3 estimated roles (attacking, defending and causing nightmares for techs). The roles do tend to differ, whereas the the light attacker focuses on grabbing the flag while the heavy attacker attacks from a distance and keeps the enemy flag stand clear, but they both have an offensive role. So to break it down: The pathfinder "attacks" the flag, the soldier attack infantry and the juggernaut attacks the flag stand. Sure, people may disagree in the fashion of thinking the raider may have a more offensive role than the soldier, which may be true, but the defensive roles make more sense. The defensive roles are of course the sentinel defending against infantry, the tech defending the generator and the doombringer defending the flag. Still, these roles can be mixed up, but they follow the same general formula. The last role are what you usually find in the generator room: The infiltrator using stealth, the raider which I haven't found out much about since they got the plasma gun and started dueling each other and the brute who uses heavy armor and indoor-effective weapons to cause a whole singularity of problems. Please note that I don't play T:A too much right now,but I think I came to this conclusion before I stopped playing frequently. Is this how Hi-Rez wants you to play the game or am I just mad and hallucinate the game being balanced perfectly?

What is this inheritance thing I keep hearing about?
it's how much momentum the projectile gains from your current speed.
