I guess I cant join the team since my computer has trouble allocating cpu space running mumble, steam, and tribes, as my computer seems unstable when running all those. Even without those i seem to crash sometimes.

Beacons better have some kind of other coolness attached or I'll just stick with the free one every class has. For some reason, my game runs terrible even though I can run almost any game (including Crysis) at about max settings 30 fps. I have a ATI Raedon 4550 HD card, and I have to run Tribes: Ascend on minimum settings at around 20 fps. Please help.

I think this game doesn't work too good with AMD cards.

Nah it's just terribly optimised. There's a stuttering bug which hi-rez seem to think is down to AMD but I think it's more down to the fact they can't code [b]anything[/b]. Stand on the generator and try to move and you'll see what I mean :v:

I hate those invisible edges when you get stuck.

I tried playing this today with my new mouse, buy I forgot to fix the DPI settings, so I was stuck with 3200 DPI (too slow for Tribes) and 6000 DPI (too fast for me). I had a couple of awful games before I remembered I could change the settings. Also, it's been a bit since I played and I noticed a lot of people jumping into Diamond Sword before Blood Eagles. That seemed quite odd to me, it's normally the other way around isn't it?

My mouse has buttons to change the DPI on it, so I just need to tap a button to increase or decrease the sensitivity, rather than fucking around in a pause menu. I just forgot to set it up properly.

On topic, I'm finding it hard to watch the CSN Tribes tournament between Tao and a51, due to the caster who keeps fumbling over his words and mixing things up. It's kind of obnoxious, but despite that nit-picking it's a fun watch.
